Thank You Gift Box

Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my Thank You Gift Box.

To create my gift box, I’ve used dies from the Paper Flower Collection, Els van de Burgt Studio as well as stamps and dies from Joset Designs. You’ll want to read below as I share with you how to recreate my gift box at home.

Step One. Choose a piece of patterned paper out of the Worn Wood Paper Pack. Die cut the Pizza Box from the Pizza Box die out of the patterned paper. Ink the edges of the pizza box using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Two. From the Pizza Box Die, die cut the scalloped square out of a piece of kraft cardstock. Ink the edges of the square using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Three. From the Pizza Box Die, die cut the stitched square out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Distress the edges of the square. Ink the edges of the square using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Four. Choose another piece of patterned paper from the Worn Wood Paper Pack. From the Pizza Box Die, die cut the 2 1/2″ circle out of the patterned paper. Die cut the stitched circle out of a piece of kraft cardstock. Distress the edges of both circles. Ink the edges of the circles using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Five. Die cut a 3/4″ Diagonal Stitched Fishtail out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Cut the fishtail down to 3″. Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to the Thank You sentiment from the Build Your Own Sentiment 1 Stamp Set and stamp on the right hand side of the fishtail. Distress the edges of the fishtail. Ink the edges of the fishtail using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Six. From the Florals 7 die, die cut the extra large, large, medium and small flowers out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Milled Lavender Distress Ink over the entire surface of the flowers.

Step Seven. From the Florals 7 die, die cut the large leaf and medium leaf twice out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Forest Moss Distress Ink over the entire surface of all the leaves.

Step Eight. Assemble your box.

Step Nine. Adhere the stitched square to the scalloped square. Foam square the scalloped square to the top of the box.

Step Ten. Adhere the stitched circle to the patterned paper circle. Foam square the patterned paper circle to the middle of the stitched square.

Step Elven. Adhere the Thank You banner to the middle of the circles.

Step Twelve. Shape your leaves and flowers. Adhere the flowers together.

Step Thirteen. Adhere a medium and large leaf to the top left portion of the circles. Adhere a medium and large leaf to the bottom left side of the circles.

Step Fourteen. Adhere the flower over top of the leaves. Add a centre to your flower if you desire.

Remember the Now Planner Page

Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my Remember the Now Planner Page.

To create my Remember the Now Planner Page, I’ve used a variety of the dies from the Planner Essentials Collection and Joset Designs. You’ll want to read below as I share with you how to recreate my planner page at home.

Step One. You’ll need to choose five pieces of coordinating winter patterned papers. From the Planner Essentials 28 – Globe die, die cut the page out of one of the patterned papers. Ink the edges of the page using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Two. Next, you’ll need the doily reinforcements from the Reinforcement Variety Pack 2. Die cut the doily reinforcements once out of a second piece of patterned paper. You’ll need a total of six reinforcements. Ink the edges of the reinforcements using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Three. Die cut a 1 3/4″ Diagonal Stitched Fishtail out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Ink the edges of the fishtail using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Four. From the Planner Essentials 8 die, you’ll need the ragged edge die. Flip the first patterned paper over and die cut the ragged edge die out of the paper. Cut the edge down to 7″. Ink the edges of the edge using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Five. From the Planner Essentials 21 – Note Pieces die, you’ll need the 2 5/8″ note piece and 2 7/8″ note piece. Die cut the 2 5/8″ note piece out of the third piece of patterned paper. Die cut the 2 7/8″ note piece out of the fourth piece of patterned paper. Ink the edges of both pieces using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Six. From the Reminiscence Book, you’ll need a piece of cream paper and a piece of dark green paper. From the Planner Essentials 16 – Christmas Tree Page, you’ll need to the two full trees. Die cut one of the trees out of the cream paper. Die cut the other tree out of the dark green paper. Ink the edges of the trees using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Seven. Now, you’ll need the two matching arrows from the Planner Essentials 29 – Directions die. Die cut one of the arrows out of the dark green paper. Die cut the other arrow out of the second piece of patterned paper. Ink the edges of both arrows using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Eight. From the Planner Essentials 34 – Christmas Figures die, you’ll need both trees. Die cut the cut out tree out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Die cut the plain tree out of a piece of green paper from the Reminiscence Book. Apply Emboss It Ink to the cut out tree. Sprinkle Iridescent Shimmer Embossing Powder over the entire surface of the cut out tree. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Ink the edges of the plain tree using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Nine. Choose a label from the Planner Labels die. Die cut the label out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink to the Remember the Now stamp from the Planner Essentials – Remember Stamp Set and stamp on the left hand side of the label. Ink the edges of the label using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Ten. Die cut the 3 1/2″ Stitched Rectangle die out of of the photo.

Step Eleven. Adhere the doily reinforcements over the circles on the page.

Step Twelve. Foam square the fishtail 1 1/4″ from the left and 1″ from the top of the page. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the ragged edge piece 1 1/2″ from the right and 1/2″ from the top of the page.

Step Thirteen. Adhere the 2 5/8″ note piece 1 3/8″ from the top and 3/4″ from the left. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the 2 7/8″ note piece 1/8″ from the right and 2 3/4″ from the top of the page. Adhere the green arrow 1 1/4″ from the top and 1 1/2″ from the right of the page. Adhere the cutout tree to the plain tree. Use adhesive and foam squares Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the tree slightly over the right hand side and 1 1/8″ from the top of the page.

Step Fourteen. Adhere the photo 1 5/8″ from the top and 1/2″ from the right of the page. Adhere the Remember the Now label 1/8: from the right and 1 1/2″ from the bottom of the page.

Step Fifteen. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the two trees to the right of the Remember the Now sentiment on the label. Adhere the other arrow underneath the Remember the Now label as desired.

Good morning!
Almost every winter we as a family go sledding and we have a great day!

To create this layout:
Step 1 – cover the background paper with clear gesso (I used a paper from the Mystical Winter Collection)
Step 2 – stamp the image from the Frosty Patterns at the top, bottom and side

Step 3 – use texture paste and a stencil from the Pattern Stencil Pack along the one side and allow to dry
Step 4 – Die cut, ink and assemble 14 – 15 flowers (I used florals 1, 2, 3, 4,)
Step 5 – die cut 2 cubic background out of coordinating cardstock. Highlight the word Winter by using snowflake paste or glitter
Step 6 – die cut 2 Diagonal Stitched Fishtails

Step 7 – mat your photo and assemble the photo area as shown
Step 8 – using some frayed cheese cloth run a piece from the top to the bottom on the one side and one from side to side in the middle


Step 9 – ink 5 chipboard snowflakes and add some silk Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter

Step 10 – start adhering flowers

Step 11 – add snowflake paste to florals, chipboard and paper
Step 12 – add some seed beads

Holy Night Card

Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my Holy Night Card.

To create my Holy Night Card, I’ve used a variety of the dies from the Planner Essentials Collection and Joset Designs as well as stamps from Sue Smith. You’ll want to read below as I share with you how to recreate my card at home.

Step One. Choose two piece of patterned paper out of the Reminiscence The Book. From the first patterned paper, die cut a 4 3/4″ Stitched Indented Square. From the second patterned paper, die cut a 4 1/4″ Stitched Indented Square. On the 4 1/4″ square, tear in a bit of the paper on three of the sides. Distress the edges of the squares. Ink the edges of the squares using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Two. Choose another piece of patterned paper out of the Reminiscence The Book. From the patterned paper, die cut a 4 1/2″ Fitted Indented Square. Distress the edges of the square. Ink the edges of the square using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Three. Choose another piece of patterned paper out of the Reminiscence The Book as well you will also need the patterned paper you used for the 4 1/2″ square. From the patterned paper you used for the 4 1/2″ square, die cut a 1″ Diagonal Stitched Fishtail. From the other patterned paper, die cut a 3/4″ Diagonal Stitched Fishtail. Cut the 1″ fishtail down to 4 1/4″. Cut the 3/4″ fishtail down to 3 3/4″ Distress the edges of both fishtails. Ink the edges of the fishtails using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Four. From the Reminiscence the Book, you’ll need a piece of cream paper. Die cut the plain globe from the Planner Essentials 28 – Globe die out of the cream paper. Die cut the detailed globe out of Champagne Foil paper. Using a felt applicator, apply Mushroom alcohol ink to the detailed globe as desired. Distress the edges of the cream globe. Ink the edges of the cream globe using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Five. From the Snowy Windows die, die cut the one of the small snowflakes once and die cut the other small snowflake twice out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Die cut the one of the small snowflakes once and die cut the other small snowflake twice out of Silver Foil Paper. Using a felt applicator, apply Mushroom alcohol ink to the silver snowflakes as desired.

Step Six. You’ll need the Holy Night stamp from the Noel Stamp Set. Apply Emboss It Ink to the stamp and stamp onto a piece of vellum. Sprinkle Copper Scroll Modern Gilding Powders over the stamped words. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Once the stamped words have cooled, cut the word into a strip.

Step Seven. Adhere the 4 1/2″ square to the 4 3/4″ square. Foam square the 4 1/4″ square to the 4 1/2″ square.

Step Eight. Adhere the 1″ fishtail 3/8″ from the left and all the way to the top of the 4 1/4″ square. Adhere the 3/4″ fishtail 7/8″ from the left and all the way to the top of the 4 1/4″ square.

Step Nine. Adhere the detailed globe to the plain globe. Foam square the plain globe to the middle of the 4 1/4″ square.

Step Ten. Adhere one of the foil snowflakes to the coordinating white snowflake. Repeat for the remaining snowflakes. Adhere the snowflakes as desired around the globe.

Step Eleven. Adhere the Holy Night word strip to the bottom right side of the globe.

Step Twelve. Cut a cardbase out of White Soft Finish Cardstock that measures 4 3/4″ x 9 1/2″, score at 4 3/4″. Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.

Joy ‘Tis The Season Card

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. Today I have a super adorable Holiday card to share with you using the new Jack Frost and Winter Accessories dies. Below you will find the steps to create your own card.

Step 1 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 11” x 4 1/4”, score at 5 1/2” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (A2)

Step 2 – Trim Unconventional Xmas Patterned Paper to 5 1/2” x 4 1/4” and adhere to card using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.

Step 3 – Diecut Jack Frost 2 times using White Soft Finish Cardstock for face and main body and Coloured Cardstock for the accessories. Diecut Winter Accessories (hat) in Coloured Cardstock. (Optional) for the trims on the hat and mitts use Glitter Cardstock for some added sparkle). Assemble using Kids Choice Glue and Tweezers and adhere to card using Foam Tape.

Step 4 – Stamp Winter Sentiments (Joy) and Joyful Wishes (‘Tis The Season) using Versafine Onyx Black Ink using Unconventional Xmas Patterned Paper. Diecut the sentiments and adhere to card using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.

Happy Thanksgiving Card

Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my Happy Thanksgiving Card.

To create my Happy Thanksgiving Card, I’ve used dies from the Paper Flower Collection as well as a die from Joset Designs. You’ll want to read below as I share with you how to recreate my card at home.

Step One. Choose two patterned papers from the Worn Wood Paper Pack. From one of the patterned papers, die cut a 4 1/4″ Stitched Rounded Rectangle. From the other patterned paper, die cut a 3 3/4″ Stitched Rounded Rectangle. Distress the edges of both rectangles. Ink the edges of both rectangles using Ground Espresso Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Two. Die cut a 4″ Fitted Rounded Rectangle out of a piece of kraft cardstock. Distress the edges of the rectangles. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Ground Espresso Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Three. Die cut a 1 3/8″ Fitted Fishtail out of a piece of kraft cardstock. Trim the fishtail down to 3″. Die cut a 1 1/8″ Diagonal Stitched Fishtail out of one of the wood patterned papers you’ve already used. Trim the fishtail down to 2 3/4″. Distress the edges of both fishtails. Ink the edges of both fishtails using Ground Espresso Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Four. Die cut the Elegant Ornament out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Trim the ornament down to 4″. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Forest Moss Distress Ink over the entire surface of the ornament.

Step Five. Die cut two of the Berry Branch Die out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Ink over the entire surface of each branch. Spritz each branch with water. Once the branches have dried, add dots to one of the branches using the Craft Drops in Pearl Rose. On the other branch, add dots using the Craft Drops in Metallic Gold.

Step Six. From the Words 3 – Happy Holidays Die, die cut the Happy Thanksgiving words out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Fired Brick Distress Ink over the entire surface of the words.

Step Seven. Adhere the 3 3/4″ rectangle to the 4″ rectangle. Foam square the 4″ rectangle to the 4 1/4″ rectangle.

Step Eight. Adhere the 1 1/8″ fishtail to the 1 3/8″ fishtail. Adhere the 1 3/8″ fishtail 1/4″ from the left and all the way to the top of the 4″ rectangle. Adhere the elegant ornament 5/8″ from the left and all the way to the top of the 4″ rectangle.

Step Nine. Adhere the two berry branches to the left hand side of the 3 3/4″ rectangle as desired.

Step Ten. Adhere the Happy Thanksgiving word to the bottom portion of the cardfront as desired.

Step Eleven. Cut a cardbase out of White Soft Finish Cardstock that measures 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″. Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.

Good morning!
Laura back today to share a simple school layout using the Reminiscence Paper Collection!


To create this layout:
Step 1 – trim a 1.25″ or 3.5cm off of the right side of your base paper and distress the edge.
Step 2 – cut a 4.5″ or 11.5cm piece of paper and distress the edges. Use a 3″ or 7cm piece of paper to lay under the base paper to create your 12×12″ or 30x30cm layout like shown


Step 4 – using coordinating papers cut 8 (2 each of 4 sizes) of the Diagonal Stitched Fishtails, distress the edges and layer like shown.
Step 5 – die cut 2 – 4 3/4 silhouette circles, distress the edges and trim one in half. Add the whole circle like in the above photo.
Step 6 – mat your photo and distress the edges

Step 7 – Using various dies cut enough stitched stars, tags, and fishtails to create two banners using twine. Add a half circle as shown

Step 8 – die cut a ‘limited edition‘ and background, an arrow, a maze piece and circle background to create this title section and as shown

We Are Stronger Together Wall Hanging

Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my We Are Stronger Together Wall Hanging.

To create my We Are Stronger Together Wall Hanging, I’ve used a variety of dies, stamps and stencils from the Art Journal Specials Collection as well as a couple of dies from Joset Designs. You’ll want to read below as I share with you how to recreate my wall hanging at home.

Step One. Die cut a 4″ Stitched Rounded Rectangle out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Place the Spring Flower Mandala Stencil on the left hand side of the rectangle. Use a palette knife and put Texture Paste Opaque Matte through the stencil. Remove the stencil. Allow the stenciled image to dry. Once the image is dry, spray Distress Spray Stain in Cracked Pistachio and Wilted Violet over the stenciled image. Once dry, ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Two. From a piece of book page, die cut a 4 1/2″ Stitched Rounded Rectangle Die. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Three. Die cut a 1 1/2″ Diagonal Stitched Fishtail out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Die cut a 1 1/8″ Diagonal Stitched Fishtail out of Book page. Ink the edges of both fishtails out of Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Four. From the Budding Florals die, die cut the single bud out of black cardstock.

Step Five. From the Blooming Branches die, die cut the heart branch out of a piece of book page.

Step Six. Die cut the the lamp standard from the Streetlights die out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the lamp standard. Sprinkle Boho Blends – Wrought Iron Embossing Powder over the entire surface of the lamp standard. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.

Step Seven. Die cut the the Bubbles from the Bubbles die out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the Bubbles. Sprinkle Peppered Chantilly Embossing Powder over the entire surface of the bubbles. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.

Step Eight. From the Budding Florals die. Die cut the bud strip out of kraft cardstock.

Step Nine. Die cut the left hand side of the Ornate Gateway out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the gate. Sprinkle Hammered Metal Embossing Powder over the entire surface of the gate. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.

Step Ten. Choose one of the girls from the Floral Girls stamp set. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the girl stamp and stamp onto a piece of watercolor paper. Colour the girl in using the Watercolor Palette. Once the image has dried, fussy cut the girl out. Ink the edges of the girl using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Eleven. Apply Emboss It Ink to the We Are stamp from the Words & Layers stamp and stamp onto a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the stronger together words from the same stamp set and stamp onto the same piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Sprinkle Boho Blends – Wrought Iron Embossing Powder over the We Are and stronger together words. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Fussy cut the We Are out and cut the stronger together into a strip. Ink the edges of the We Are and strip using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Twelve. Adhere the 4″ stitched rounded rectangle to the 4 1/2″ stitched rounded rectangle.

Step Thirteen. Adhere the 1 1/2″ fishtail 1/4″ from the left and 1/4″ from the bottom of the 4″ rectangle. Adhere the 1 1/8″ fishtail 3/4″ from the left and 1/2″ from the bottom of the 4″ rectangle. Adhere the bubbles die cut 1/8″ from the left and 1/4″ from the bottom of the 4″ rectangle.

Step Fourteen. Adhere the gate overtop of the bubbles and fishtails. Foam square the bud strip to the middle of the gate. Adhere the light standard and single bud as desired to the middle of the bud strip.

Step Fifteen. Foam square the girl 1″ from the right and 1/2″ from the bottom of the 4″ rectangle. Use foam squares to adhere the We Are words 1″ from the bottom of the 4″ rectangle and close to the girl. Adhere the stronger together word strip 3/8″ from the right and 3/4″ from the bottom of the 4″ rectangle.

Step Sixteen. To finish the wall hanging, punch two holes at the top of the 4″ rectangle. Tie a piece of twine through the top of each hole.

Enjoy This Moment Planner Page

Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my Enjoy This Moment Planner Page.

To create my planner page, I’ve used a variety of the dies from the Planner Essentials Collection as well as dies from Joset Designs. You’ll want to read below as I share with you how to recreate my page at home.

Step One. Die cut the ticket page from the Planner Essentials – 11 die out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Spritz Dylusions Ink Spray in Rose Quartz, Pink Flamingo and Tangerine Dream on the page as desired. Spritz the ink with water and dab the excess ink spray off with a paper towel. Once the page has dried, ink the edges of the page using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Two. Choose a piece of patterned paper. Die cut the large banner from the Planner Essentials – 3 die out of the paper. Ink the edges of the banner using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Three. From the Diagonal Stitched Fishtails, die cut the 3/4″ fishtail out of a piece of kraft cardstock. Cut the banner down to 2 3/4″. Ink the edges of the fishtail using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Four. From the Planner Essentials 14 – Bookmark 1 die, die cut the star reinforcements out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. You’ll need a total of four. Ink the edges of the reinforcements using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Five. Die cut two circle wreaths from the Planner Pocket – 2 out of White Soft Finish Cardstock.

Step Six. Die cut the small note piece from the Planner Essentials 21 – Note Pieces die out of the same piece of patterned paper you die cut the banner out of. Die cut the 1 1/2″ note piece out of another piece of patterned paper. Ink the edges of the note pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Seven. Choose two labels from the Planner Labels die. Die cut one label out of black cardstock. Die cut the other label from kraft cardstock. Cut one of the labels in half. Ink the edges of the kraft label using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Eight. Choose two of the patterns from the Planner Patterns die. Die cut one of the patterns out of black cardstock. Die cut the other pattern out of kraft cardstock.

Step Nine. From the Planner Filmstrip die, die cut the polaroid die with the tab out of a coordinating piece of patterned paper. Ink the edges of all of the pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Ten. From the Planner Essentials – 8 die, die cut the Enjoy This Moment words out of kraft cardstock. Die cut the heart out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Die cut the heart a second time out using the patterned paper you die cut the banner out of. Ink the edges of both hearts using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Eleven. Cut a piece of burlap that measures 1 1/2″ x 4″.

Step Twelve. Adhere the star reinforcements over top of the circles on the page. Adhere the kraft pattern piece 1″ from the top and 1 3/4″ from the right of the page.

Step Thirteen. Adhere one of the label halves 5/8″ from the top and 7/8″ from the right of the page. Adhere the small note piece 5/8″ from the right and 1 1/2″ from the bottom of the page. Adhere the burlap piece 7/8″ from the top and 1 1/4″ from the right of the page.

Step Fourteen. Use foam squares to adhere the kraft label 3/4″ from the right and 1 5/8″ from the top of the page. Adhere the 1 1/2″ note piece 3/4″ from the bottom and 1/4″ from the left of the page. Adhere the other half of the label 3/8″ from the bottom and 1/2″ from the left of the page. Adhere the other pattern piece 1″ from the top and 3/8″ from the left of the page.

Step Fifteen. Adhere the banner 1/8″ from the right and 2 1/4″ from the top fo the page. Adhere the two circle wreath as desired over top of one another to the middle of the pattern, note piece and part of the banner.

Step Sixteen. Staple the polaroid pieces together. Adhere the 3/4″ fishtail 1/8″ from the left side of the polaroid frame. Foam square the frame 1 1/4″ from the bottom and 1″ from the right of the page.

Step Seventeen. Adhere the hearts together, making sure the white part of the heart shows underneath the patterned paper heart. Adhere the heart overtop of the fishtail. Adhere the Enjoy This Moment words 1/4″ from the bottom of the polaroid frame. To finish the page, add a staple to the black label halves at the top and bottom of the page.

Bloom Card

Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my Bloom Card.

To create my card, I’ve used a variety of the new dies and stamps from Charlene and Ilse’s Art Journal Specials Collection as well as a couple of dies from the Planner Essentials Collection, Joset Designs and Els van de Burgt Studio. You’ll want to read below as I share with you how to recreate my card at home.

Step One. Die cut a 4 1/4″ Stitched Square out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Place the Story Telling stencil to the left hand side of the square and put Texture Paste Opaque Matte through the stencil with a palette knife as much or as little as desired. Once the paste has dried, distress the edges of the square. Ink the edges of the square using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Two. Die cut a 4 3/4″ Stitched Square out of a piece of book page. Distress the edges of the square. Ink the edges of the square using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Three. Die cut a 2″ Stitched Circle out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Cut the circle down to 1 1/2″. Die cut a 1 1/2″ Stitched Circle out of a piece of patterned paper. Cut the circle down to 1 1/4″. Distress the edges of the circles. Ink the edges of the circles using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Four. Die cut a 3/4″ Diagonal Stitched Fishtail out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Cut the fishtail down to 2 1/2″. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the Bloom sentiment from the A Field of Flowers stamp set and stamp onto the fishtail. Distress the edges of the fishtail. Ink the edges of the fishtail using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Five. Die cut the Mandala out of a piece of kraft cardstock. Cut the Mandala down to 2 1/2″.

Step Six. Die cut the Blooming Branch from the Blooming Branches die and die cut the branch out of cream cardstock.

Step Seven. From the Planner Essentials 24 – Photo Frame die, die cut the film strip out of a piece of black cardstock. Trim the filmstrip down to 3 1/8″.

Step Eight. From the Planner Essentials 24 – Photo Frame die, die cut the arrow strip out of a piece of pattern paper. Ink the edges of the strip using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Nine. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the flower branch from the First Sights of Spring stamp set and stamp onto a piece of watercolour paper. Colour the flower branch using the Watercolor Palette and a waterbrush. Fussy cut the flower branch out.

Step Ten. Cut a small piece of cheesecloth.

Step Eleven. Adhere the 4 1/4″ stitched square to the 4 3/4″ stitched square.

Step Twelve. Adhere the mandala to the left hand side of the 4 1/4″ stitched square. Adhere the 1 3/4″ stitched circle to the middle of the mandala. Adhere the 1 1/4″ stitched circle to the 1 3/4″ stitched circle.

Step Thirteen. Staple the arrow strip to the film strip in two sections as desired. Adhere the bloom fishtail 1/2″ from the bottom and 1″ from the left of the 4 1/4″ square. The fishtail will sit slightly underneath the circles. Adhere the arrow strip and film strip to the middle of the circles.

Step Fourteen. Adhere the cheesecloth to the middle of the arrow strip and films trip. Adhere the bloom branch to the middle of the cheesecloth.

Step Fifteen. Foam square the flower branch as desired overtop of the bloom branch.

Step Sixteen. To finish the card, cut a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock that measures 4 3/4″ x 9 1/2″, score at 4 3/4″. Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.
