March 10, 2023

Hi everyone, Katie here with todays blog post! and today we are creating a fun St. Patrick’s Day Planner page set. Nothing says luck than a rainbow, lucky clover and a pot of gold. So grab a hot beverage or a green beer and lets get started.

Step 2: Out of the Curved Library Pocket, cut out the word Lucky from black and green cardstock, assemble and set aside.

Step 3: Out of Sidekick Essentials 19 cut two base pages and two mats, ink your edges and attach your photo mats.

Step 4: I used a Lawn Fawn die for my rainbow and cut from coordinating cardstock and assembled.

Step 4: I attached my Lucky word and pop-dotted my clover. Next, I pop-dotted my rainbow and gnome!

Step 5: attach your pot of gold and adhere your gold coins, pop-dot both of my clovers!

Planted with love

March 3, 2023

Hi all, it is Lisanne here with a new sidekick page. This time it is in the pink colours with the beautiful Bellrose pink paperpack. It is a page who you can make very fast, but I still like the result.

First a base page with the wave pocket on top of it. If you adhere everything as a pocket you can put many things in there. In the last pocket I put a sentiment strip in it. Great set to put in there. I also add some cute paperclips from Sidekick Essentials 14.

In the smallest pocket I put a small file folder from Sidekick Essentials 14 and also a small plant from the scallop insert. In combination with the cute girl it is a cute part of the page.

Only the reinforcers at the page and everything is ready.

I hope you like the post! See you next time.

Kind regards Lisanne Geerdink

My heart belongs to you! by Katie Porcina

February 24, 2023

Hi everyone, Katie here with todays blog post. This year my husband and I are celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary, and with the prompt being “love” for the month of February I wanted to create this heartfelt creation for my planner essentials album. So grab a coffee and I will walk you through how I created these pages!

Step 1: Out of the worn wood paper cut your large heart, and cut your small heart from your choice of designer paper I used an older 49 & Market collection. Next, I cut out some white branches from blooming branches. I cut out two mats and added my ephemera and accessories.

Step 2: Cut two base pages from planner essentials 1 from your choice of designer paper, next I cut my polaroid photo mat from planner essentials 3 & 4 and tags from the worn wood designer paper. Cut out your quote “Enjoy this moment” from planner essentials 8.

Step 3: Creating your small heart pocket, first take your large heart stitched die and cut from clear acetate, next cut your small heart from your designer paper and attach. You will want to add your holes and line it up to the match the holes on your planner base page.

I attached the pocket leaving the top open to add my tags. Last assemble your pages as per the picture above adding your ephemera, branches, quotes, flowers, photo mats, date and enforcement rings on both pages.

I hope todays post brought you some inspiration to create your own anniversary or special moment pages.

Have a wonderful day and happy creating, >Katie<

Joset Designs Planner Essentials Stamping

Dreams come true

February 3, 2023

Hii all! It is me again, Lisanne. Today I made a sweet card with some old and new products. I used the newest paperpad Bellrose Pink. I love the colours.

For this card I used the Stitched Rounded Rectangle as base dies. The paper I use is Bellrose Pink. At the background I used a mask stencil with Walnut Stain Oxide.

I also did some stamping with the newest stamps from Esther. Aren’t they great?

I love to make a background with stencils and stamps. When you do it this way you need to think how you want to build the card. I knew that I want to use a tag so I lay this at my card. Now I can see where I want to stamp.

Here you can see the tag which is in the Bellrose Pink paperpad. I also adhere a tab and a small circle at the top. After that I made the mushroom from the once upon a time accessoires. It is all made from designpaper.

At least I made the base with the paperpad and Stitched Rounded Rectangle. I also did some stamping at the fishtail with the once upon a time sentiments.

I hope you liked the post and have some new ideas. Thankyou for visiting and have a great day!

Kind regards Lisanne Geerdink

Enjoy today

January 20, 2023

Hi all! I’m here with a page in my little book which I made last year. It is a project with small pages because I used the Arrow Insert Dies. Great for a little book!

If you use the Arrow Insert dies you get a page. But if you trim this in half you can make a lot of different combinations. First I stamped at the open arrow with CS215, just lightly.

At the back of the open arrow I made a little scene with the Slimline Adventure Edges and the Ducks. I adhere this at with some double sided adhesive.

At the tab on top I did some stamping ‘enjoy today’. Now it is time to make it into a shake card.

At the back I put some double sided adhesive at all the sides and adhere acetate. After that I need to put some double sided adhesive again at the acetate. Now you need the do this against each other so the shaker material can’t fall out.

I also adher a daffodil on top of the page and of course a reinforcer from the third set.

It is a short post but I hope you liked it.

Thankyou for visiting!

See you soon!

Kind regards Lisanne Geerdink

Starting my pet planner for 2023

January 13, 2023

Hi everyone, Katie here with my first blog post for 2023! I wanted to start the year off with my sidekick pet planner and pocket page set! So grab a coffee or your favorite beverage and lets get started!

Start with cutting your images from Josets cat die #1666 your favorite card stock, ink the edges with a slightly darker coordinating ink. I made three kitties for the example today 🙂 Yes these are the colors of my kitties Mocha, Grey (aka spooky) and the white cat is pumpkin.. We rescued her in October 2022 her name fits her personality cute as a pumpkin it just stuck, lol.

Next out of your choice of designer paper I cut a page from the Sidekick Essentials 4, the accessories are from sidekick – pocket fillers 1 & 2 .

Next cut pocket pages using your coordinating designer paper and sidekick-pocket fillers, I pop-dotted the kitty on top of my planner pocket.

Add your photo mat, heart clip and moments quote, I pop-dotted the kitty, basket and fish.

Last step add your reinforcement rings to both your planner page and pocket page.

I hope today brought you some inspiration, have a wonderful crafty day.

In the Kitchen #DBD

November 23, 2022

Hi Everyone, Katie here with todays blog post! Today I am sharing one of my #decemberdbd ” In the Kitchen” which is day #23 featuring Josets Mrs. Clause die and Let’s Bake set! So while we are working on this page, grab a coffee and lets get started.

Start with cutting out your images from your favorite card stock and ink the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I also added some pink on her cheeks and assemble as per the package.

On my printer I typed out my word title and used a word banner from one of my other Planner Essential sets and then inked the edges.

With Planner Essentials 19 – cut your base page from Christmas Lives Here dark green paper. Then I cut the whisk head out of Silver foiled cardstock and the handle from Tim Holtz black distress card stock and ink it all with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

Using the smaller rectangle die from Pocket Page Fillers 1, I cut a small plaid photo mat. Next I added all my pieces and only pop dotted Mrs. Clause and the rolling pin up top.

I hope you enjoyed todays blog post with my take on the #decemberdbd day #23, keep on eye out for my other pages that I will be posting on the ECD Planners & Journaling Page.

Label box

October 27, 2022

Hii all!

I’m here today with a new blogpost. I am very excited about this project because I can use a lot of different things. I used a Vignette Box from Tim Holtz filled with dies from Esther and Joset. It is such a fun project to fill.

As you can see I used a lot of different base dies. I used the cutting tags from the paperpad Christmas Lives here, Planner Essentials 42 (shapes, frames and words), the Library Pocket Filler Cards and the Nested Tags from Joset (1998). With these dies you can make a lot of different combinations. So let’s start with the first one.

I used the paper from Christmas Lives Here to start with. For this card I also used some corrugated cardboard and tear that. At the back I used a stencil with some icicle texture paste. Adhere the corrugated cardboard, a label and some holly with berries.

At the back I only made the lantern from the Lantern Page.

For the next card I stamped with the Peace and Joy stamp, Versamark and some red Embossing Powder. It is not that tight, but I like this for now. At the right I made a little tab.

At the back I used the stamp Crayons with Journaling Cards and another Holly with berries.

The next card is made with the Frames from Planner Essentials 42. Just die-cutting the full card with the beautiful bird and added a frame.

At the back of the frame I did some stamping, used an older label and added some tab behind the label. I also used the small trees from the Sidekick Essentials. And ofcourse some sparkling.

For the next card I started with some stencil and Ink for the background, added a part of the tree page and a small Nutcracker.

And at the back also some stamping with embossingpowder, some gifts and a stamped paperclip. I really love to make combinations with dies and stamps.

And last but not least I made these two tags with Santa and Mrs. Santa.

I think I told you everything for now haha. It is a long post this time, but I had some much fun making and sharing this. Below this post you can see all the used products.

Thankyou for visiting!

Kind regards

Lisanne Geerdink

Making a start to my October Planner!

September 29, 2022

Hi all, thank you for joining me with todays blog post. Fall and Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year so I wanted to create this fun title page to start my month of October and nothing says October like Pumpkins, leaves and an owl witch. So grab a Pumpkin Spice Latte and lets begin!

Step 1: Cut out your images ( I used a lot of different sets from Joset’s collection see sets below) from your favorite cardstock and ink the edges with distress ink.

Next cut out your planner page and ink blend them with Black Soot, Villainous Potion and Shaded Lilac as per the picture above.

I sprinkled my page with water and dabbed it with a paper towel and set it aside to dry.

Once the page is dry I attached my tree and pop-dotted my owl. Next, add your spiders web, pumpkin and pop-dot your Jack-o’-lantern. Add your leaves, spider and your October title. Last step is to speckle with white heavy body paint.

Thank you for joining me today and have a crafty happy day!

Fun Fold Fall Card

August 29, 2022

Hi Everyone, thank you for joining me today for this fun folded fall card. I love all things fall the changes to the colors of the leaves, pumpkins, scarecrows, corn mazes, plaids, warm sweaters and a hot cup of coffee. So grab a cup and lets get started.

Step 1: Cutting and scoring your card base – start with a heavy card base and cut your paper 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, along the 8 1/2 side score at 2″, 3 1/8″, 5 3/8″ and 6 1/2. Your designer paper cut 2 @ 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″, 2 @ 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ (Sides) and 1 @ 2″ x 5 1/4″ (front panel). Next I inked my papers with Vintage Photo Distress ink and set aside. Next fold up your score marks so the front of your panel is folded upwards. Please see picture above and below.

Step 2: Adhere your inked paper strips to your card base.

Step 3: Using the new Pocket Page Fillers 1, use the two smaller rectangles and cut 1 small rectangle from heavy mixed media paper and the medium rectangle to cut the the green plaid rectangle. Next I took my Distress Ink Peeled Paint and smooched it onto my mixed media mat and spritzed it with water, then I took my mixed media paper and dabbed it into my ink smooch. (As per above) After it was dried I added my word sentiment “Hello Fall” .

Step 4: Cut out your scarecrow, pumpkin, leaves and crows out of you choice of cardstock. I inked all the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink and assembled as per the picture above.

Step 5: I attached my mixed media paper to my plaid background, I added my pumpkin and pop-dotted the top of my pumpkin, added some leaves and pop-dotted my scarecrow. Last step is speckling the card with heavy body white and brown paint.

Here is a look at the card before going into the envelope.

I hope you enjoyed todays Fun Folded Card, Have a wonder day and happy crafting! >Katie<
