Hello my crafty friends, it’s Raquel Mason. I like encouraging good reading habits. A great way to do that is with a fire hydrant shaped bookmark complete with the new Puppies Peel-Offs. Let me show you how I made it.
1. For the base, cut red cardstock at 3.25 x 5.5 then die cut using the basic tag shape from Tags & More 3 Leaves. Sponge with black ink.
2. For the bottom band, cut red cardstock at 1 x 3.75, use Tags & More 3 die to curve the ends. (See photo below) Sponge with black ink. Adhere to bottom of bookmark.
3. For middle band, cut red cardstock at .5 x 3.75, round edges with scissors. For top band,
cut red cardstock at 1 x 3.5. Sponge both pieces with black ink and adhere bands to top & middle of bookmark.
4. Cut 4 pieces of red cardstock at .5 x 1, sponge with black ink. Adhere to top band of bookmark using photo for placement.
5. From red cardstock, die cut 1 circle reinforcement and keep the little center circle.
Sponge both pieces with black ink. (*These two pieces will be used next to the word “reading” in step 8.)
6. Place desired peel off stickers onto watercolor paper. Color with Tombow Dual Brush markers and water brush or desired medium, then cut out.
7. For the greeting, use the bone as an “I”, use the heart as “Love” and use the letters from Good Luck, Dream & Season’s Greetings dies to make the word “Reading”.
8. Assemble using photos for placement. Add red grosgrain ribbon at top of the bookmark.

Hi, Jackie Smith here. As an owner of a beloved pet, I am crazy about the new Puppies
Peel-Offs in the latest release from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I decided to make a Happy Birthday card for other fellow dog lovers.
Instructions:
1. Create card base from aqua colored cardstock. Cut 7″x 10″ rectangle; score and fold in half (5″x 7″ finished card size)
2. Cut light blue paper 4 3/4″x 6 3/4″ and adhere to card front using double-sided adhesive. Cut light brown paper 41/2″x 6 1/2″ and adhere on top of the blue paper again using double-sided adhesive.
3. Cut one accordion panel from blue paper using the Katie Label Accordion. Trim off the long side tab and cut out the center label. Adhere frame and label to card front as shown in the picture at the beginning of this blog post.
4. Place black Puppies Peel-offs, black Gifts Peel-Offs as well as the black Balloons Peel-Offs onto white cardstock with double sided adhesive on top. Cover Peel-offs with Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter and polish glitter with your finger. Use a brush to brush off the excess glitter. Follow Els’ step by step instructions for this technique HERE.
5. Color puppies, gifts and balloons as desired. I used Tombow Dual Brush Markers although they do require extra time to dry as they are water-based. Use alcohol-based markers instead of water-based markers if you prefer.
6. Die cut balloons from Light Green and Light Blue Velvet Adhesive plus die cut some balloons from Blue Iridescent Shimmer Sheetz (metal adaptor plate needed in the cutting “sandwich” for cutting Shimmer Sheetz – cutting side of die facing the plate with Shimmer Sheetz in between). Mix and match as shown. Adhere to card front using double sided adhesive and pop dots.
7. Die cut Happy Birthday using Happy Birthday Stand Up Helper from Black Velvet Adhesive Sheet. Cut along the score line below the words, keeping the narrow bar below the letters.
8. Add Turquoise/Silver Glitter Borders around the card. Use some of borders as string for the balloons. Adhere bow to the top of the frame.
Guest Designer Judi Kauffman is back with some Tags & More projects. There are two flat tags and a shaped-top card. She’s been mixing and matching again, using the decorative overlays from all three Tags & More die sets with the basic tag shape from Tags & More 1 – Lace. Here’s her how-to:
Thanks for inviting me back, Joset. I love the way the Tags & More decorative overlays and basic tag shapes can be combined among the sets. I had such fun mixing and matching the leftover bits and pieces, too.
For both tags and the shaped-top tag card:
Put the 3 Dragonfly Lady in Circle Peel-offs, 1 bow, and 3 hearts onto smooth white cardstock and color inside the lines. Cut out and set aside.
SHAPED TOP TAG CARD
1. Lightly score 8” x 5” piece of spring green metallic cardstock midway (as if making a 4” x 5” card base) but do not fold. While the rectangle is still flat, center the basic tag shape die from the Tags & More Lace 1 – Lace set along the scored line and cut the shape. While still flat, cut the decorative overlay from Tags & More 3 – Leaves. (Save 2 of the leaves for the inside of the card and the rest for other projects.) Now fold the card so the shaped section stands upright, above the fold.
2. Cut a 3” x 5” piece of dark green metallic cardstock and adhere to the back of the card. Cut a dark green metallic basic tag shape to back the top of the tag. Cut a 3.25” square from dark green metallic cardstock and adhere to card front, set on the diamond (points at the top, bottom and sides).
3. Alter a 2” x 6” piece of Fire Opal Gemstone Shimmer Sheetz with Expresso alcohol ink and Gold Metallic Mixatives. Back with Elizabeth Craft Designs’ clear double sided adhesive sheet.
4. Using the metal adaptor plate when cutting the adhesive-backed Shimmer Sheetz, die cut four corner pieces, 3 4-petal flower-shape reinforcements and 9 quarter-inch circles, and the words Best Wishes. Die cut two more quarter-inch circles from Peridot Gemstone Shimmer Sheetz or bright green cardstock backed with double sided adhesive sheet.
5. Refer to photos; assemble the exterior and interior of the card. Add one flower-shape reinforcement and one small circle to the back of the card as a finishing touch. Use foam tape under the heart and Dragonfly Lady in Circle.
6. Add Happy Birthday Peel-off in Gold to lower right side of card front. Bend the words Best Wishes on the inside of the card a bit so they are on a curve rather than a straight line.

LOVELY LACE TAG
1. Cut a Tags & More 2 – Deco tag measuring 7.5” long from deep teal cardstock. Using the decorative overlay from the Tags & More 1 – Lace set cut the detailed area at the top of the tag. Set aside the negative pieces for the next project. Back the tag with a basic tag shape cut from deep mauve cardstock.
2. Cut just the two flourish scroll shape pieces in the decorative overlay die from scraps of deep mauve cardstock.
3. Cut a 6-petal flower-shape reinforcement and two corner pieces from Shimmer Sheetz prepared in step 4 of the Shaped-top Tag Card project (first project in this blog post).
4. Use the photo for reference; complete the tag. Glue the deep mauve scrolls next to the bow. Add Happy Birthday Peel-off in Gold, centered, toward the bottom of the tag. Use foam tape under the Dragonfly Lady in Circle, bow, and heart.
5. Add narrow ribbon.
DECO MEETS LACE TAG
1. Cut 5.25” long tag shape using Tags & More 1 – Lace basic tag die.
2. Turn the decorative overlay from Tags & More 2 – Deco so it is the opposite of the usual position and die cut the open areas.
3. Cut 3 diamond-shape reinforcements and two decorative corners from Shimmer Sheetz prepared in step 3 of the first project of this blog post (Shaped-Top Tag Card).
4. Use the photo for reference; complete the tag. Two scroll-shape pieces and one circle cut from dark teal cardstock are used on the front of the tag. The bottom diamond on the front of the tag is backed with the third diamond-shape reinforcement (a nice finishing touch for the reverse side of the tag). Use foam tape under Dragonfly Lady in Circle and Heart for dimension.

Other – Spring green and dark green metallic cardstock, deep mauve and deep teal cardstock; alcohol ink in Espresso; Metallic Mixatives in Gold; 1/8” ribbon in spring green and purple
Hi, Kelly Booth here. I know many of you that live back east in the US or in other places where it snows all the time are not looking forward to winter, but here in the desert I wish it would snow. I think snowmen and snowflakes are just magical. Today’s card features both of them on a fun Pop It Up!
1. Take a piece of light blue cardstock 8 1/2″ by 11″ and spray it with Dylusions White Spray. Let it dry. Cut 4 3/4″ x 11″ from this piece and score at 5 1/2″. Place the Lucy Label Pop Up die on the score line and run it through your die cutting machine. Gently fold the scored lined and shape the pop up. ( Save the extra you will use that in step 4)
2. Cut a piece of medium blue cardstock 4 3/4″ by 11″ and score at 5 1/2″. Stamp star pattern in white ink on the front of this.
3. Adhere the two together by placing pieces of double sided adhesive on the back of the light blue piece and placing it inside the medium blue card front. Trim away any edges that don’t line up just right.
4. Take the leftover light blue cardstock and cut a piece 3 1/4″ by 5″. Place tag top die from Tags & More 1 – Lace at the top and run it through your die cutting machine. Take the decorative swirl die and line it up on the tag so the hole matches and run it through the die cutting machine.
5. Take a piece of white cardstock 3 1/4″ by 5″, place the tag top die at the top and run it through your die cutting machine. Adhere this piece to the back of the light blue tag with the swirls. With a scrap of medium blue cardstock, cut a circle tag reinforcer and adhere around the hole in the tag. Put a piece of ribbon through the hole and secure.
6. Place pieces of double sided adhesive on the back of the tag and place it on the front of your card.
7. Adhere white cardstock 4″ by 6″ to a piece of double sided adhesive the same size. Peel off the backing and place in on your work table with the shiny side up. Peel off one snowman in frame and place sticker sticky side up on your protective backing. Place your cardstock with the adhesive side facing down on top. Turn over so the cardstock is on the bottom and peel off protective backing making sure not to touch the exposed adhesive. Cover adhesive with Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter. Polish and brush of excess glitter.
8. Color the snowman peel-off with Alcohol markers (I used Copics). Cut out snowman label staying as close to the silver edge as possible. (Save the extra glittered card stock as you will use this later).
9. Place a single layer of foam tape or pop dots to the back of the snowman and place it on the center of your tag on the card front.
10. Adhere white cardstock 4″ by 4″ to a piece of double sided adhesive the same size.
Peel off the backing and cover the adhesive with Silver Silk Microfine Glitter. Polish and brush of excess glitter.
11. Using the leftover piece of cardstock covered with Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter, cut 1 large, 1 medium and one small snowflake using the Elizabeth Craft Designs Snowflake die set.
12. With your silver glittered cardstock, cut 1 medium and one small snowflake.
13. Place one medium snowflake on the top left hand corner of the snowman label by adding liquid adhesive to just one of the snowflake arms. Add a Transparent/Silver Glitter Dot in the center of the snowflake.
14. Stamp a greeting on a piece of white cardstock with silver ink. Place a small label die from the Katie Label Pivot die set around the sentiment and run through your die cutting machine. Place two layers of foam adhesive or pop dots to the right and left side of the label and place it onto the bottom left side of your card. Now the front of the card should be finished.
15. Take your Lucy Label Pop Up die and cut it on a scrap of white cardstock making sure you cut the label shape. Cut the label shape out snipping at the connection points. Stamp a greeting for the inside using silver ink. Adhere label over the label on the inside of the card.
16. Place one small silver snowflake to the left side of the large white snowflake on the inside of the card by putting liquid adhesive on two of the snowflake arms.
17. Adhere a medium silver snowflake to the right side of the greeting label and a white small one on the left using a little dot of liquid adhesive.
18. Take two of the silver snowflakes from your Snowman in Frames Peel-off sheet and place one on the top of the platform inside the card and another just above the large snowflake.
Add a Transparent/Silver Glitter Dot in the center of all snowflakes except for the large one. Your card is now complete!
Hello – Karen Aicken here with an A2 size floral card to share. The great thing about a simple design like this is how easy it is to change. Use Christmas patterned papers and colours for the flower and switch to a different greeting (Merry Christmas, Season’s Greetings). Change the patterned papers, colour palette and sentiment to use this layout for other holidays and occasions year round.
1. Cut your white card base to 8-1/2 x 5-1/2″ to create a standard A2 size card. Place your
cut card base in the landscape position and score down the center at the 4-1/4″ mark.
2. Cut your patterned paper to 3″ high and 4-1/2″ wide and adhere along the bottom edge of the card. There will be a little overhang on each side edge, and you can trim this away with scissors or a craft knife. I prefer to cut my paper a little larger and trim it down after adhering it to the base than cutting it exactly to size and trying to get all three edges to line up.
3. Using the solid Crystal Flower Set 1, cut one of each size from a lightly patterned paper.
4. Take a piece of Double Sided Adhesive cut to 3-1/4 x 5-1/4″, peel off the backing paper from one side and adhere to a piece of white cardstock the same size.
5. Die cut one large and one small crystal flower overlay from the piece you just prepared, with the white cardstock facing the cut edges of the die. Because these dies are very intricate
I use my metal adaptor plate to get a clean cut. Note – save your scraps for step 17.
6. Peel off backing and carefully apply each crystal flower overlay onto the coordinating solid crystal flowers.
7. Add foam tape to the centre front of the largest flower and adhere the smaller flower on top.
8. Using the smallest circle die from the Crystal Flower set, cut circle from black cardstock and adhere to the center of the smallest flower. Spread with glue and sprinkle with Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter.
9. Apply peel-off border at the top edge of your patterned paper, trimming to fit. Add black Glitter Dots as shown.
10. Add foam tape to the back side of your crystal flower embellishment and attach to the card front as shown.
11. Die cut Hello from a scrap of black cardstock.
12. Trim a rectangle of patterned paper approximately 2-3/4″ long by 1″ wide and trim the ends into a fish tail banner.
13. Apply the Hello word in the center and add Glitter Dots as shown. Adhere to the card, below the flower using foam tape.
14. If you would like to decorate the inside of your card, this is how I did mine. Cut a panel of patterned paper 4 x 5-1/4″ and adhere inside card.
15. Cut a white panel 3-1/2 x 4-3/4″ and adhere over the patterned paper panel leaving an even border on each edge.
16. Cut a solid small butterfly from a scrap of patterned paper.
17. Using one of the scraps from step 5, die cut the butterfly body with the ADHESIVE BACKING facing the die (which is the opposite to how we cut the crystal flower overlays). Peel off the backing and dip the butterfly body into your Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter jar. Tap off the excess and polish with your finger. Adhere to the butterfly and attach the finished butterfly inside the card as shown using foam tape.
I hope you enjoy using this layout. It is simple but perfect if you are looking to make multiple cards.
Hi, it’s Karen Burniston with the October Pop it Ups Designer Challenge. Each month I challenge my Designer Challenge team to use Pop it Ups dies for a specific theme. This month the challenge was to make cards suitable for the men and boys in our lives.
Normally you would also see a new card and video from me, but then this happened…
Thankfully it all worked out and we arrived home in the early hours of this morning. Gonzalo was only a tropical storm when he passed over the island, but later strengthened into a hurricane. There were straggling black clouds hurrying to catch up the next morning, but otherwise the skies turned bright and sunny and the airport reopened.
My card and video is delayed, but luckily my amazing team of ten designers, plus a guest designer, are providing fabulous inspiration this month for your masculine cards. For each card you can click on the designer’s name to visit her blog post, where you will find additional photos, supply lists and (in some cases) instructions for the cards.
SPIRAL CIRCLE PULL CARDS:
Many of the designers this month chose to use the Spiral Circle Pull Card die for their masculine cards.
Summer Hills-Painter made this hilarious “Shake your Booty!” card that is wonderfully interactive. I love that you can see his disco hand in both positions. Plus, his booty really shakes!
I’m happy to welcome back Sandy Diller as a guest designer for the challenge this month. Sandy combined the Spiral Circle Pull Card with the Clock & Gears die set. Notice her clever use of all the knock-out numbers peppered all over the card and the flying gears effect created by using the spiral. What a perfect sentiment to use for this card!
Frances Byrne also used the same two dies – Spiral Circle Pull Card and Clock & Gears, but the results look completely different. Frances also found the perfect patterned paper to go with her “Make Every Moment Count” card. Notice the word “Time” is visible in the closed position. Clever!
This next card is extremely clever and fun. Donna Wright reproduced a Westminster clock for her masculine card. She shaped the outer portions of the clock with the Outdoor Edges and embellished with the Agatha Edges. Her signature tiny clothespins are used as clock weights.
GENERAL POP-UP CARDS:
The brand-new Happy Birthday Pop-up die is now available and the designers have provided some wonderful ideas for it.
Shelly Hickox is the queen of faux finishes and this card is no exception. She creates leather and metal and rivets and faux eyelets and she explains it all! Definitely check out her blog post to see more of this Shellypiece.
The first time I met Raquel Mason it was at a store in Florida where I was teaching classes. She brought some of her cards to show me and I was blown away. Check out this clever creation using Shimmer Sheetz as a mirror to reflect the Happy Birthday in the mirror. Raquel also lengthened the poles from the Lots of Pops die by stopping the cutting pad short of the end of the die and cutting the bottoms with scissors. Fabulous!
Karen Aicken also used the Happy Birthday pop-up die, but added pen outlining around the words for definition. What a great tip! You’ll want to click over to Karen’s blog post to see the front of this card, which is also very masculine!
Karen Aicken made another card for the challenge and chose to do a card for a younger boy. This one is a Lorna Label pop-up card using the doubling technique. She used some of the brand new Puppies Peel-off Stickers and added the birthday hat from the Props 2 die set. What a great idea! She also used the script word dies from the Happy Birthday set to create the greeting.
What could be more masculine than cowboys? Helen Cryer made this great Lorna Label pop-up card with the perfect combination of papers. Love the denim on the pop-up!
Kelly Booth also chose to make a little boy’s card and used both of the brand new Character dies – Honey the Bear and Dutch the Fox. She also used the new birthday-themed Props2. The front of her card features the Outdoor Edges combined to make a great dirt and grass ground. Honey the Bear holds the present from the Evergreen Pivot Card.
The inside of Kelly’s card is just as bright and fun as the outside. Dutch is sitting on the Lorna Label Pop-up die and Kelly used the decorator dies from the new Happy Birthday pop-up to create the greeting.
Another great card for a man or boy is this sensational Dr. Who-inspired card by Raquel Mason. She was very clever using pieces of the Holiday House to create the Tardis. She also used the gears from the Clock & Gears die set.
The interior of Raquel’s card uses the Lots of Pops to animate a Dalek, created from the new Tags & More die set plus more gears and the speech bubble from the Lorna Label set. Such a fabulous creation!
PIVOT AND ACCORDION CARDS:
Kelly Booth made a fun Katie Label Pivot Card for her husband as an anniversary card. I love how Kelly combined the decorator hearts from several Pop it Ups dies on this card. Pivot Cards are the quickest of the interactive card dies and since the same decoration pivots from the front of the card to the interior of the card, crafters often choose Pivot Card dies when they want double-duty decoration.
Fran Sabad used the same Katie Label Pivot Card die as Kelly, but she used a folding technique to double the height of the label so she would have more real estate for decorating. She added circle decorations in a nautical theme – very masculine!
Speaking of Katie Labels – did you know that the same shape (the Katie Label) is offered as a Pivot Card die (see the two examples above) but also as an Accordion Die (see the three samples below)? The die sets have different mechanisms (pivot cards are not the same as accordions) but because the shapes are the same, the decorator dies from both sets can be mixed together. They do not duplicate.
Frances Byrne made this brilliant 3-page Katie Label Accordion as a Father’s Day card. What a perfect stamp for page 2! She also used the Katie Stars Frame Edges on the second page. Love this!
I never met a pun that I didn’t like, so this next card by Fran Sabad is right up my alley. She made a 2-page Katie Label Accordion using the Katie Holly Frame Edges, a giant ‘stache’d Nutcracker, and a greeting to fit. Notice the fun detailing on the Nutcracker’s hat!
Caz Counsell also used the Katie Label Accordion for this hilarious birthday card featuring the Katie Stars Frame Edges as well. Caz chose the perfect masculine colors for this card.
I know that I’m inspired by all these great ideas, how about you? Now I know what you’re thinking – men and boys are not always appreciative of handmade cards. Ah, but interactive cards appeal to their mechanical sides and they will be quite impressed with your crafty abilities when you present a Pop it Ups card!

I’ll be back next month on November 12th with the RED, WHITE OR BLUE challenge. No, we’re not making patriotic cards – we’re making single-color cards! This is the all-white, all-red or all-blue challenge and the designers may choose which color to use. It should be a really fun challenge.
Hi, Candy Spiegel here to share another creation using Elizabeth Craft Designs products.
I absolutely love this card I made, it came out exactly how I envisioned it the moment I saw these new Jackie’s Christmas Dolls Peel-Offs for the first time. I wanted these elegant ladies to remain soft and festive without the traditional bright red and greens so I let the paper choose my color palette.
Here’s how you can make one:
1. Cut four accordion panels using the Accordion Oval Card. Place all four panels in front our you with the long side tabs facing to the right. Adhere with a strong adhesive. Clip the tab off the right side of the last panel and the small tab around the oval.
2. Adhere Double-Sided Adhesive to white cardstock.
3. Peel off protective backing and turn it over on the table in front of you with the shiny side up. Peel off the three black ovals and three extra black hats from the sticker sheet and place stickers sticky side UP on protective backing. Pick up adhesive covered cardstock and turn it over onto stickers. Turn over so the cardstock is on the bottom and peel off protective backing. Stickers will now be right side up on top of adhesive.
4. Cover adhesive with Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter. Shake off excess. Burnish with finger.
5. Color with alcohol-based markers.
6. Use the oval die (included with Accordion Oval Card Die Set) to cut out your three peel-off ovals. Cut one plain oval from pale green cardstock.
7. Fussy cut out hats.
8. Adhere ovals to card base as shown.
9. Place dimensional foam adhesive on the back of each hat and adhere to the ovals.
10. Use dots from the Silver Jackie’s Christmas Dolls in Oval Peel-Offs as buttons on the lady above.
11. Add Glitter Dots in Silver to the ladies as shown above and below.
12. Add snowflakes from the Silver sheet to the green oval.
13. Use tweezers to add Glitter Dots in Silver to snowflakes.
14. Cut the Season’s Greetings Peel-Off off the sticker sheet and then cut the words apart. Peel off background on each. Cut a Transfer Sheet slightly larger than the Season’s Greetings Peel-Off. Place the Transfer Sheet over the word Season’s and burnish it with your finger. Carefully lift and place over green oval. Burnish again to adhere it in place. Repeat with the word Greetings.
15. Score and fold card panels and adhere tabs to the back side of each of the ovals.
Don’t toss those scraps! The pieces that are left after you make Katie Label Accordion cards can be combined to create interesting frames for flat-front cards. The shape and dimensions of the frames will depend on how many pieces you use and how you arrange them.
In keeping with the theme and palette of the scraps I had on hand I added pumpkins, leaves,
a Jack ‘O Lantern, wood grain and solid color cardstock, a black spider and some black stars.
I know these won’t be the last of my Scrap Frames projects. I’ve got a zippy plastic bag on my work table and plan to keep refilling it.
HOW TO:
1. Arrange patterned paper leftovers from Katie Label Accordion cards to create frames in various shapes and sizes. When pleased with the combinations, glue them to speckled or solid color cardstock rectangles measuring about a quarter-inch larger than the frame on all sides.
2. Put Pumpkins and Leaves Peel-offs in Black or Gold, or a combination, onto Fire Opal Gemstones Shimmer Sheetz. Cut around the shapes staying as close as possible to the outlines.
3. Use the photos for layout ideas. Assemble A2 size (4.25 x 5.5 inch) top- or side-fold card fronts: One frame, a pair of pumpkins or a Jack ‘O Lantern, and two or three leaves per card.
4. Options:
Use foam tape or dots to add dimension to pumpkins and leaves (Peel-offs sheet called Pumpkins includes leaves and a Jack ‘O Lantern as well as pumpkins).
Add a spider and some stars from Halloween in Frame Peel-offs in Black.
Remember to look at both front and back of the scraps if they have been cut from 2-sided papers.
It’s Frances here today. I don’t know about you, but I need to start adding some Christmas cards to my stash so I will be ready to send them out to my family and friends early in December.
Today I am sharing a card I created using the Spiral Circle Pull Card. This card is a Double Spiral Circle Pull Card inspired by one created by Raquel Mason a few months ago.
Here is how I created my card:
1. Cut a piece of designer paper that measures 5 1/2 inches x 11 inches. Score at 4 inches at each end of the card.
2. Line the center nibs of the die from the Spiral Circle Pull Card on the score line at one end of the card and run the die through the die cutting machine just past the center nibs of the die. Remove die from card and place die on the other score line at the other end of the designer paper, so that the circle of the die is facing the end of the paper. Run this through your die cutting machine, again only just past the center nibs of the die. (TIP: if you run the die fully though your die cutting machine, rather than just past the center point of the die you will end up with a hole in the centre of the card where the closing points of the die are)
3. Fold card to create a Double Spiral Pull Card (one circle will be hidden by the other).
4. Trim 1/4 inch off each end of the card. Cut 2 pieces of aqua card measures 2 inches x 5 1/2 inches and adhere to the back of the card on each end. Adhere so each side of the card is showing 1/4 inch of the aqua card.
5. Stamp Christmas Sentiment to center panel.
6. Cut a piece of white card and a piece of Double Sided Adhesive that are approx 3 1/2 inches x 9 1/2 inches. Remove the release sheet from one side of the adhesive and set it aside upside down on your desk (shiny side up). Adhere your Double Sided Adhesive sheet to the piece of white card.
7. From the Jackie’s Christmas Dolls in Circle Peel-Off sheet, remove the girl with Christmas Tree, the girl with window and two holly leaves. Place your pieces sticky side up onto the release sheet that we set aside earlier.
8. Take your white card and place it with the adhesive side facing down onto the release sheet with the Peel-Offs on it. The Peel-Offs will lift from the release sheet and stick to the adhesive on the cardstock.
9. Turn your card so the release sheet is now on top. Take off the release sheet and make sure not to touch the images on the adhesive.
10. Cover the adhesive with Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter and polish with your finger. You can see a video Els created using this technique HERE. Color your images as desired.
11. Add Red/Gold Glitter Dots to the decorations on the tree on the peel-off sticker.
12. Cut out all images.
13. Cut a piece of red card 5 1/2 inches x 2 15/16 inches, a piece of aqua card 5 1/2 inches x 2 3/4 inches and a piece of white card 5 1/2 inches x 2 9/16 inches. Layer all pieces together and adhere to centre of the inside of the card.
14. Add the holly leaves to the centre panel as per photo of finished card.
15. Using the large circle die from Clocks & Gears die set, die cut 4 red circles. Adhere each of the circles to the front and back of each circle on your card.
16. Use foam tape to adhere the two Jackie’s Christmas Dolls in Circle Peel-offs to the front of each circle.
17. Roughly trim around the negative Jackie’s Christmas Dolls in Circle (girl with Christmas Tree) which remains after using the peel-off for your card. Peel off any excess black peel-off that may be around your image until you just have the images as per the photo above.
18. Cut a piece of Transfer Sheet approx 4 inches x 4 inches. Remove the protective backing and place this onto the negative portion of the peel-off. Rub all over the top of the Transfer Sheet and carefully lift this off the negative image ensuring that the negative image lifts off with the Transfer Sheet.
19. Place the negative image down on a piece of white card approx 4 inches x 4 1/2 inches and rub all over the image. Carefully lift off the Transfer Sheet ensuring that the negative image stays on the white card. You can see a video Els created using this technique HERE.
20. Use the circle die from the Spiral Circle Pull Card set to die cut the negative image you created above. Also die cut another circle from white card.
21. Adhere the negative image to the inside of the left panel and the blank white circle to the inside of the right panel.
22. Die cut the Merry Christmas Stand Up Helper from red and aqua card. Layer the red greeting over the aqua so that they are slightly offset. Adhere the greeting to the center of the front of the card ensuring to only use glue on the left half of the greeting so the card can still be opened.
23. Add Transparent/Silver Glitter Dots over circles on designer paper.
