Good morning everyone! It’s Tina here today from the Susan’s Garden Club Design Team to share an all-occasion card. Ever have a moment when you have plenty of cards on hand but not the right one because of the sentiment? As my DH stated, some cards don’t have to have a sentiment – the card speaks for itself. My Lavender Bouquet card is the first card since I started card making that is without a sentiment! Below you will find the steps for recreating this card. Finished card, folded, measures 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.
Autumn is such a wonderful time of year with all the beautiful Fall colors! It is that time of year we love to decorate our porches and yards with beautiful chrysanthemums. This is Selma today and I have designed a card using many of the colors we see this time of year. The flowers were created with Susan’s Garden Notes Chrysanthemum dies. Other dies used are the Susan’s Garden – Garden Patch Woodland Leaves, Leafy Branch, Berry Branch, and the new Els van de Burgt Studio Entwined Circles, Joset Designs Birds, and Winter Sentiments Clear Stamp Set. Here is how I created this card.
Faith, Love, and Thanks – 2 – Die Boxes and a Card
September 11, 2016By Judi Kauffman
September 11. A day that the world will never forget. The sky was a perfect clear blue over Manhattan, the Pentagon, a field in Pennsylvania. Within minutes it all changed.
Each year I spend time reflecting on what was lost: The flight attendant who lived a few blocks from us, the colleagues of a friend who worked in one of the towers, and all of those I never knew but mourned with a heavy heart. On this day I spend time celebrating the heroism of first responders and ordinary citizens who did what they could to save lives.
And then, I go back to my normal routine, grateful that the sky is still blue, most of the time. That people are wonderful, most of the time. And that there is still creative work to be done. All of the time.
The holidays are filled with so many wonderful things and that includes eating things that are special for the season. The Joset Designs Christmas Pudding die set helps us celebrate this tradition. I have never made a Christmas Pudding, but after working with this die, that will be one of the new recipes I must try. Doesn’t it look delicious? Here is how I created this card.
Never Stop Growing – Art Journal Page
September 8, 2016Hello everyone, Sanna here today. I recently went to Barcelona for a holiday and was fascinated by Gaudi. This art journal page has lots of color on it, like the tile bench in Parc Güell in Barcelona.
