A Way With Words Cardmaking Soft Finish Cardstock

Cherish In Pinks

January 11, 2020

Cherish.  What a wonderful word.  Who do you cherish?  Make them a card!  This can be for Valentine’s Day, a birthday or a new baby.

Cherish.  Think about it.

.

Okay, that’s long enough!  Now let’s make the card!

Instructions:

Form a 5×7” tent fold card base from dark pink. Die cut the second smallest Stitched Rectangle from dark pink.

Die cut Cherish and the fourth smallest Stitched Rectangle from white cardstock.

Die cut 2 flourishes from the Flourished Frame and the butterfly from the Butterfly Flourish from light pink. Cut a mat panel slightly larger than the white rectangle from light pink.

Adhere Cherish to the dark pink panel.

Attach foam adhesive squares to the back of this panel as shown so it’s easy to tuck the flourishes under the edge.

Adhere the pink panel to the white panel, then attach the flourishes, tucking them under and over the dark pink panel as shown.

Mount this on the pink mat using foam squares and then to the card base.

Attach the butterfly above Cherish.

Viola!  Beautiful! And cherished.

Happy creating, Suzanne
