Cardmaking Charlene Stamps Craft Drops Joset Designs Planner Essentials Soft Finish Cardstock

Happy Spring!

March 4, 2020

Karen here today from Craftily Yours! Have you played with the Craft Drops available at Elizabeth Craft Designs yet? I have, and they are SO fun! In my card today, I used three of the available drops in different ways.

Anyone else ready for Spring?! I sure am, and today’s post shows it!

To create this card, I created a card base by cutting an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of 90 lb Soft Finish Cardstock in half and then folding it in half. The card front was created using teal cardstock die cut with the Fitted Rounded Rectangles. I then added the teal patterned strip to the yellow patterned strip and cut it with the Stitched Rounded Rectangles dies.

I die cut that adorable little heart branch from a die found in the Planner Essentials 25 die set. On a small paper plate, I put a small amount of Metallic Silver Craft Drops and either dipped the tips of the leaves into it or used my stylus to add a smidge at the tips of the leaves in the center.

I also stamped a flower from the Garden Flowers Stamps and fussy cut it and colored it with Copic Y21, Y23, and Y26. I then fussy cut the flower and covered the center with some Transparent Crystal Craft Drops. I love the bit of added dimension this brought. Finally, I added acouple of “half pearls” created using White Craft Drops to the sentiment stamped from the Spring Sentiments stamp and cut with a Stitched Circle die. (I colored the word “Spring” with Copics BG53 and BG57.

I love the little extra sparkle and dimension that these craft drops can bring! Thank you for stopping by today.

Craftily yours, Karen
