Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my Christmas Gift Tags.

To create my Christmas Gift Tags, I’ve used a variety of the dies from the Planner Essentials Collection as well as stamps from Sue Smith. You’ll want to read below as I share with you how to recreate my gift tags at home.

Step One. Grab the Hugs and Noel Stamp Set. From the Noel stamp set, you’ll need the Holy Night words. Apply Emboss It Ink to the stamp and stamp onto a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Sprinkle Gothic Black Modern Gilding Powder over the words. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. From the Noel stamp set, you’ll need the Christmas word and from the Hugs stamp set you’ll need the Merry word. Apply Emboss It Ink to both stamps and stamp onto a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Sprinkle Copper Scroll Modern Gilding Powder over the words. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. From the Hugs stamp set, you’ll need the Merry and Wishes words. Apply Emboss It Ink to both stamps and stamp onto a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Sprinkle Kells Gold Modern Gilding Powder over the words. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Cut all the words into strips, make sure that the Holy Night words stay as one strip. Ink the edges of the word strips using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Two. Choose a piece of red patterned paper from the Reminiscence Paper Pack. You’ll also need a piece of gold patterned paper. Die cut the plain nutcracker from the Planner Essentials 34 – Christmas Figures out of the red patterned paper. From the same die set, die cut the detailed nutcracker out of the gold patterned paper. Ink the edges of both images using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Three. Choose a piece of green patterned paper from the Reminiscence Paper Pack. You’ll also need a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Die cut the plain tree from the Planner Essentials 34 – Christmas Figures out of the green patterned paper. From the same die set, die cut the detailed tree out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Ink the edges of the green tree using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Four. Choose a piece of cream and red patterned paper from the Reminiscence Paper Pack. You’ll also need a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock and black cardstock. Die cut the plain snowman from the Planner Essentials 34 – Christmas Figures out of the White Soft Finish Cardstock. From the same die set, die cut the detailed snowman out of the cream patterned paper. Die cut the hat part of the plain snowman out of the red patterned paper. Trim the hat to fit so you don’t see any over hang when the detailed snowman goes over top. From the same die set, die cut the buttons and eyes out of black cardstock. Ink the edges of the hat using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Five. Adhere the detailed nutcracker to the red nutcracker.

Step Six. Adhere the Holy Night word strip to the nutcracker wherever you’d like.

Step Seven. Adhere the detailed tree to the green tree.

Step Eight. Adhere the Merry Christmas Word strips as desired on the tree.

Step Nine. Adhere the hat to the plain snowman. Adhere the detailed snowman to the plain snowman. Adhere the buttons on the snowman as desired. Adhere the eyes to the snowman.

Step Ten. Adhere the Christmas Wishes word strips to the bottom left side of the snowman as desired.

Step Eleven. Punch a small hole at the top of the nutcracker, tree and snowman. Tie a piece of twine through the holes.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope that I’ve inspired you to create your own version of my Christmas Gift Tags at home.
