Let Your Dreams Soar Card

January 2, 2021

Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my Let Your Dreams Soar Card.

To create my Let Your Dreams Soar Card, I’ve used a variety of dies from Suzanne Cannon and Jost Designs. You’ll want to read below as I share with you how to recreate my card at home.

Step One. Choose two pieces of patterned paper out of the Worn Wood Paper Pack. From the first patterned paper, die cut a 4 1/4″ Stitched Indented Square. From the second patterned paper, die cut a 4 1/2″ Fitted Indented Square. Distress the edges of the square. Ink the edges of the squares using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Two. Die cut the 4 1/4″ Stitched Indented Rectangle out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Distress the edges of the square. Ink the edges of the square using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Three. Place the 3 1/4″ Stitched Circle on a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Nest a 2 3/4″ Stitched Circle inside of the 3 1/4″ Stitched Circle and die cut the circles.

Step Four. From the Create a Wreath die, die cut the bow out of a piece of coral paper.

Step Five. From the Create a Wreath die, die cut one of the branches eighteen times out of piece of green paper.

Step Six. Die cut the small flower from the Christmas Accents die five times out of a piece of coral patterned paper.

Step Seven. From the Christmas Accents die, die cut the centers five times out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock.

Step Eight. Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to the Let your dreams soar sentiment from the Soar Collection Stamp Set and stamp onto a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Fussy cut around the sentiment. Ink the edges of the sentiment using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Nine. Adhere the 4 1/2″ square to the 4 3/4″ square. Foam square the 4 1/4″ square to the 4 1/2″ square.

Step Ten. Adhere the branches around the circle as desired.

Step Eleven. Adhere the bow to the top of the wreath.

Step Twelve. Shape the flowers and adhere two centers into each flower. Adhere the five flowers as desired around the wreath.

Step Thirteen. Foam square the wreath to the middle of the 4 1/4″ square.

Step Fourteen. Adhere the sentiment to the middle of the wreath.

Step Fifteen. Cut a cardbase out of White Soft Finish Cardstock that measures 4 3/4″ x 9 1/2″, score at 4 3/4″. Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope that I’ve inspired you to create your own version of my Let Your Dreams Soar Card.

Katelyn
