Season’s Greetings Slimline Card

September 27, 2021

Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my Season’s Greetings Slimline Card.

To create my Season’s Greetings Slimline Card, I’ve used the Classic Christmas Kit from Joset Designs. You’ll want to read below as I share with you how to recreate my card at home.

Step One. Die cut the slimline die from the Classic Christmas Kit out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock.

Step Two. Cut a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock that measures 3 1/4″ x 8 1/4″.

Step Three. Choose three of the snowflakes. Die cut one of the snowflakes twice and the other snowflakes one time each out of a piece of shimmer cardstock.

Step Four. Choose two pieces of patterned paper out of the Reminiscence the Book. Die cut one of the ornaments out of each of one of the patterned papers. Die cut one other ornament out of the second piece of patterned paper. Die cut the tops out once out of a piece of copper foil paper. You’ll need a total of two ornament tops.

Step Five. Die cut a 1 1/4″ Diagonal Stitched Fishtail out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Cut the fishtail down to 3 7/8″. Apply Emboss It Ink to the Season’s Greetings stamp out of the Classic Christmas Kit and stamp onto the fishtail. Sprinkle Kells Gold Modern Gilding Powders over the stamped sentiment. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.

Step Six. Adhere the patterned slimline piece to the plain slimline piece.

Step Seven. Adhere a top to each of the ornaments. Foam square one of the ornaments to the middle of the slimline cardfront. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the other ornament to the left of the already adhered ornament.

Step Eight. Adhere Season’s Greetings fishtail to the middle of the ornaments.

Step Nine. Adhere one set of snowflakes to left of the Season’s Greetings fishtail as desired. Adhere the remaining two snowflakes to the to right side of the Season’s Greetings fishtail as desired.

Step Ten. Cut a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock that measures 7 1/2″ x 8 1/4″, score at 3 1/4″. Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope that I’ve inspired you to create your own version of my Season’s Greeting Slimline Card at home.
