Hello everyone! Jackie here again with my first post for 2022 .. with valentines day fast approaching I have a quirky ‘I love you’ card today featuring a very colourful chicken and rooster perfect for a loved one. This is a quick and easy card tutorial to follow and you can easily switch up the colours to suit.
Step One
Cut a panel of patterned paper approximately 2.25×5.25″ die cut two fancy edges using the lovely planner essentials 27 and attach these top and bottom of the panel, fix the prepared panel to the centre of a top folding 5.25×5.25″ white card blank using 1mm foam pads.

Step Two
Die cut the chicken and the rooster and build as normal, you can use what ever colours you like or make them with more realistic colours.

Step Four
Stamp out the sentiment using purple ink then quickly sprinkle with clear embossing powder before heat setting. Trim the sentiment down to a small tag shape cutting a fish tail to one end and rounding the other adding a tiny hole. Thread with twine, tie a bow then fix in place on the card front to finish.
