Monster Love!

February 6, 2023

Hello everyone, Jackie here with today’s blog post.. I am still in a lovey-dovey valentines kind of mood so here is another valentines card for today’s inspiration, of course this can be changed for different occasions too.

Step One:

Start by ink swooshing across the front of a 5.25×5.25″ top folding card blank, here I used a distressed ink cube weathered wood.

Step Two:

Round the top right corner with a large corner punch then fix a medium sized die cut heart shape towards the centre top, use 3d foam pads for added height.

Step Three:

Make the biscuit. Die cut the half eaten biscuit shape twice, use a tiny heart die to cut out the centre of one biscuit piece. Glue the two together then fix a red die cut heart into the centre and ink around the edges with a light brown ink.

Step Four:

Die cut and build the monster then ink around the edges for texture. Attach the monster to the card front along with the biscuit.

Step Five:

Stamp out then die cut the sentiment, you will need to trim off the (‘re) from the word you’re. I have die cut a further two sentiment pieces in black card to help the sentiment stand out a bit more. Fix in place using more 3d foam pads.

Finish off by adding a couple more tiny die cut hearts, you could add some bling here if you wanted to.

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope I have inspired you to have a go at my card – Happy crafting Jackie x

I love the colors and that is so darn CUTE! It’s one to go down in my books to use as inspiration. It’s the perfect FUN card for giving to your friends.
