Hi friends, it’s Sandy here and I have a cute ornament project for you. These little Christmas critters would be fun to make with the kids to give to their friends or family members. You could even add the year on the hat to make it a Christmas memory to be treasured for years to come. This new release from Joset Designs is full of festive fun for the holidays.
This is fast and easy – so let’s get started.
Step 1: Dies needed:
- Entwined Circles – cut 8 medium
- Polar Bear – cut one body and two of all other pieces of Polar Bear (ornaments will be double-sided). Cut 4 caps and trims. Double sided for bear and penguin.
- Penguin – cut one body and two of all other pieces
- Santa’s Sleigh – using only gifts and bows. Cut 2 large and 4 small gifts and bows from White Soft Finish Cardstock.
Step 2: Assemble bear and penguin. Use one body and two of all other pieces to make them double-sided.
Step 3: Position the penguin or bear in one circle making sure that there are contact points for the glue as indicated by the arrows above.
Step 4: Add both gift boxes as desired.
Step 5: Layer one more circle randomly and add a dot of glue where the small circles come in contact with the Entwined Circle leaving all other parts loose.
Step 6: Turn ornament over and layer the second set of gift boxes over the front ones. This will sandwich the Entwined Circles.
Step 7: Layer the remaining two Entwined Circles randomly as desired.
Step 8: The ornaments should look the same from either side.
Step 9: For a finishing touch, add a bow on each side. Add a loop of fishing line as an invisible hanger.
Optional: I had some Christmas Lights embellishments in my stash so I added them to the critters and attached them with glue dots.
Thanks for joining me today,
S@ndy

Adorable and darling, just love these critters. Thank you for the totorial.
Such cute ideas! Thank you for sharing. I am gradually getting back some of the dies and stamps that I lost during Hurricane Harvey. When I see these cute ideas, I save them for using later when I can find similar stamps and dies. I’ve gotta get busy, Christmas will be here soon. Brenda
The ornaments are so cute. I love the penquin but I must say the polar bear is my favorite. Adding the lights is a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
I love these. I make ornaments for my (grown) kids each year and these are fabulous!!!!
