Day Lily Thank You Card

Hello Dear Friends,

“The modest Rose puts forth a thorn,

The humble sheet a threat’ning horn:

While the Lily white shall in love delight,

Nor a thorn nor a thread stain her beauty bright.”

The above ode to this exquisite flower by famous romantic poet William Blake signifies the love for lilies that people have had for centuries. The Day Lily symbolizes innocence, purity and thankfulness. It’s a flower used not only as a prenatal gift to expecting mothers but also as an anniversary gift and for other occasions, too.

Today I present to you a card using this immensely captivating flower. This card is for all of my friends, thanking them for being a vital part of my life’s journey.

A warm welcome to the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog. It’s Pavitra here and today i have a gorgeous card to share with you. I created it for a special friend, using the Dahlia from Susan’s Garden.

Dahlias are such versatile flowers, they come in various colors and with Susan’s dies it is so easy to create them. For this card I chose various shades of pink.

Susan’s Garden Designer Challenge – July

Hi everyone!

Welcome to our first Susan’s Garden Design Team Designer Challenge. Some of you asked for this challenge earlier in the year and we are so happy to finally be able to include it.

Susan Tierney-Cockburn designs flower dies that are realistic, just like those we find in nature, and they are scaled so they can be used together in bouquets. For our first challenge let’s celebrate with flowers! Create a card/project anything you want as long as it includes one or more of Susan’s Garden flowers.

For our Challenge today we are giving away a Susan’s Garden Prize Pack which includes: Garden Notes Square Window & Flower Box, Sunflower 2 and an All Metal Tool Kit to 3 winners.

A Dahlia Canvas

Welcome friends to another post where I have used the beautiful Dahlias from Susan’s Garden, this time on a canvas. Creating the canvas reminded me of my childhood where I used to see my mother nurture these beauties while helping her in the garden. Working with flowers makes you fall in love with the nature all the more, and such has been my experience. Hello everyone Christine here from Susan’s Garden Design Team I am so excited to be using a couple of Susan’s brand new releases coming soon at Elizabeth Craft Designs. This card has Susan’s Garden Notes Begonia and Garden Notes Window w/window box. My card is a 5-1/2″ square tent fold card but it can certainly be made in another size and could be a side fold card.

Happiness with Gerberas

Hello !!!!

This is Anita here with another flower filled card from Susan’ s Garden.

Gerberas are beautiful blooms that can be found in many colours. They range from white, pale pink, peach to hot red , yellow , orange and so on.

I have created many such colourful gerbera blooms with Susan’s Garden Notes die.

My card today features the beautiful gerbera with the new ModaScrap papers.

Tag with Poinsettia

Hello friends, Piyanki here using the Poinsettia from Susan’s Garden to create a water color mixed media Tag!

Shaping poinsettias is what I love. I have made a red and pink Poinsettia in an earlier post which has a word background.

I used the new Distress Oxide for the background, keeping it subtle so that the flower pops.

Elegant Hydrangea from Susan’s Garden

Hello My Dear Friends!

I am Pavitra here and welcome to the ECD blog. Today I have brought delicate Hydrangea for all of you from Susan’s Garden. These tiny wonders look so fabulous and nature provides them in so many beautiful colors.

A Bouquet of Roses from Susan’s Garden

Hello to all!

This is Anita here and I have brought fresh roses from Susan’s Garden for all of you. Roses are one of my favourite flowers and I love making them in various colours and shaping them in many ways. Each rose looks different, each is so beautiful.

Susan’s Garden has an entire collection of dies with which to create amazing realistic flowers and you can check them all out here.

I created a lace bouquet wrap using the new ModaScrap Romantic Corner die set and arranged the roses and leaves in it.
