Hello everyone, it’s Sanna Lippert here today with my last guest design team blog post of the year. Are you ready for a few more Christmas cards? I have created plenty this year, but I still ran out of them, so I needed a few simple, fast and easy ideas to create a few more. So for these cards I decided to use mainly just the die cut dies and colored cardstock. So if you are looking for fast-to-make cards, this might be exactly what you are looking for.
Here is how I created the cards:
Die cut Soft Finish Cardstock with die cut dies of your choice.
Arrange onto card bases and adhere.
Stamp the sentiment.
Decorate with liquid or glitter pearls. Done!
For the above card I also used a small piece of patterned paper, because it reminded me of snowfall. But you could also use colored cardstock (blue) instead and adhere the die cut snowflakes on place.

Diana here! My youngest son loves all things panda. He could say the name of his panda lovey before he could say his own name. Inevitably, he will get something panda related for his birthday and Christmas. Being a prepared momma, I made this card for him to use as a thank you card once Christmas is over.
Els has a great video on how to put the panda together so I won’t go through it here. The only thing I added was to sponge some pink on the paws and cheeks.
Can you see the Symbol background is on a sheet of Press and Seal?
I started with a white background and then sponged some yellow and green on the bottom. This softens the background and makes the background not so stark because I knew I wanted to add the Symbol background to it. In the picture above, you can see that the negative of the Symbol background is all aligned because before I took it off the cutting mat, I pressed a sheet of Press and Seal on it. Then I could just add glue and place it directly onto the background. So easy and quick!
Add some grass with some quick upstrokes of Copic markers
I almost did not add grass to the background but when I did my layout with the panda and bamboo, it looked as if the panda was floating. Adding the grass anchored him a bit. And the good news is that it does not have to be perfect as most of it will be covered by the panda.
All done!
I die cut the bamboo and the A Way With Words “for you” out of green cardstock and added shading by coloring with a darker shade of green Copic. I’ve found this keeps my die cuts some dimension.

Hello everyone, Diane here to present you one of my Christmas cards. Christmas cards are my favorite to make and I hope you’ll enjoy this tutorial.
Step 1: Card base
Cut 12 X 6 inches white cardstock and fold in half (to make a 6 X 6 inches card).
Cut a 5 3/4 X 5 3/4 inches square out of gold cardstock.
Cut a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 blue cardstock.
Adhere each layer on top of the other with some Transparent Double Sided AdhesiveTape .
Step 2: Background
Using the Planner Essentials Dies #1610 – Planner Patterns die set, die cut the middle pattern (boxes shapes) in some gold cardstock and once in red cardstock. Keep all the little parts in the pattern.
Put some Transparent Double Sided AdhesiveTape on the back of every other row of the gold die cut. Remove all the pieces not covered with the tape (see picture below).
Remove the tape and adhere on the card base.
Leaving the first row empty, adhere some red pieces with some Kids Choice Glue on the next row. Repeat for the next two rows (see picture below).
Step 3 : Reindeer
Using the #1681 Reindeer die set, die cut all the parts of the reindeer in colored cardstock.
Also using this die set, die cut all the parts of the wreath in different colors of cardstock.
Put together the reindeer and the wreath with some Kids Choice Glue as shown in the picture below.
Put some accent glitters on the lights of the wreath.
Put some googling eyes on the reindeer.
Adhere the reindeer on the right side of the card with some foam adhesive tape.
Step 4: Christmas gifts
Using the die set #1568 – Santa’s Sleigh, die cut 2 medium size gifts and one small gift using some green, red and yellow cardstock.
Die cut the bows for each gift, alternating the colors.
Using some Kids Choice Glue, assemble the gifts.
Glue the gifts on the left side of the card.
Step 5: Sentiments
Die cut the words ”happy” and ”holidays” out of the #1567 Words 5 – Winter Wishes die set into some red cardstock.
Using some Kids Choice Glue, adhere the words on the top of the card.

Are you in the Christmas Spirit, and getting out all your favorite decorations? Tree up? (I hope it twinkles and sparkles)!
This is a 6” x 6” card with white embossed card stock as the background and dark green as the backing. I’ve used pine needles and two ornaments from ECD’s ‘Beautiful Baubles’ to begin the festivities.
I cut 2 pine branches, then a third, which was cut into several pieces to make the boughs dimensional. Star Dust glitter glue was added to resemble snow. The Berry Branch was added using Pearl Rose Craft Drops for the berries. The ornaments are 2 different pieces of glittery card stock, and I decided double bows made the ornaments ’perky’!
‘Joy’ and ‘Peace’ were added as my wishes to you.
This saying from Thomas Wolfe is a favorite of mine, so I wanted to include it: “always leave a little room in your Holidays for miracles”

Hi there, it’s Tanja here and today I would like to show you how to create this sparkly Christmas Card step by step.
Step 1: Die Cutting and Stamping
die cut one of the Stitched Rectangles from watercolor cardstock
stamp the sugar cane from the Oh the Joy of Christmas set with Versafine Clair Morning Mist onto a piece of watercolor paper, heat-emboss it with clear embossing powder and fuzzy cut it
stamp the stars from the same stamp set with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Metallic Silver Super Fine embossing powder
Step 2: Creating the Background
add color to the background using Distress Oxide Inks (Faded Jeans, Stormy Sky, Chipped Sapphire) and a Blending Brush
add splatters with Lawn Fawn Liquid Stardust for even more sparkle
Step 3: Coloring the Image
color the sugar cane with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers
Step 4: Sentiment and Finishing Touches
stamp the sentiment from the Classic Christmas Sentiment Set with Versamark onto a piece of torn vellum and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Silver Super Fine embossing powder
adhere the panel onto a grey cardbase using clear double-sided adhesive
add some silver sequins to finish the card

Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, I’m thrilled to be sharing with you my Believe in the Magic of Christmas Gift Tag, which is perfect to add to any Christmas gift or gift bag this holiday season. To create my gift tag, I’ve used a variety of stamps and dies from Suzanne Cannon! To compliment the products from Suzanne Cannon, I’ve also used dies the Planner Essentials Collection.
See my step-by-step below – I hope you enjoy my tutorial!
Step One. Die cut the large tag from the Planner Essentials – 2 die out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the two snowflakes from the Christmas Collection stamp set and stamp randomly on the tag. Reapply ink to the stamps as needed. You’ll want to stamp a total of four large snowflakes and three small snowflakes. Sprinkle Burnished Silver Modern Gilding Powder over the stamped images. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Ink the edges of the tag using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Step Two. From the Falalala word, die cut it out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Cut the word down to 2 1/2″. Apply Emboss It Ink to the word. Sprinkle Kells Gold Modern Gilding Powder over the word. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.
Step Three. From the Flourished Christmas Minis 2 you’ll need the star. Die cut the star out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the star. Sprinkle Kells Gold Modern Gilding Powder over the star. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.
Step Four. From the Peace Die, you’ll need the stars. Die cut the star out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to three of the stars. Sprinkle Kells Gold Modern Gilding Powder over each star. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.
Step Five. Die cut the Christmas Ornament from the Love, Joy, Peace Ornament out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the ornament. Sprinkle Gothic Black Modern Gilding Powder over the ornament. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.
Step Six. Die cut all the pieces from the Flourished Holly out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Festive Berries Distress Ink over the entire surface of the berries. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Forest Moss Distress Ink over the entire surface of the flourished holly piece and small outline holly leaf. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Forest Moss and Mowed Lawn Distress Ink over the entire surface of the full holly leaves.
Step Seven. Die cut a 2 1/2″ Stitched Circle out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Ink the edges of the circle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Step Eight. From the Let Your Heart Be Light stamp set, you’ll need the Believe in the Magic sentiment. Apply Festive Berries Distress Ink to the sentiment and stamp onto a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Cut the sentiment into three strips. Ink the edges of the strips using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Step Nine. Adhere the stitched circle to the middle of the Falalala word, making sure the flourish is showing. Foam square the Falalala word to the left side of the tag. Adhere the ornament overtop of the circle.
Step Ten. Adhere the flourished holly together. Adhere the star to the middle of the circle. Foam square the flourished holly to the left hand side of the ornament.
Step Eleven. Adhere the three sentiment strips to the right hand side of the circle. Adhere the three stars as desired around the tag.
Step Twelve. To finish the tag, tie a piece a twine through the hole at the top of the tag.

Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my Seasons Greetings Card.
I love creating with Krista Schneider’s stamps as there are fabulous designs and are the perfect images to add to any project you’re working on. You’ll want to read below as I have a tutorial for you on how to recreate my card at home!
Step One. Choose a piece of Christmas patterned paper. Die cut a 4 3/4″ Stitched Indented Square out of the paper. Ink the edges of the square using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Step Two. Die cut a 4 1/4″ Stitched Indented Square out of Rich Black Soft Finish Cardstock.
Step Three. Die cut a 3 3/4″ Stitched Indented Square out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to some of the circles from the Circle Background and stamp randomly onto the square. Reapply ink as needed to the stamp. Sprinkle Golden Rod Molten Dimensions Embossing Powder overtop of the circles. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Ink the edges of the square using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Step Four. From the Words 5 – Winter Wishes die, die cut the Seasons Greetings sentiment out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Forest Moss Distress Ink over the entire surface of the sentiment.
Step Five. Next, you’ll need the Poinsettia Stamp Set. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the poinsettia stamp and stamp onto a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the berry sprig stamp and stamp onto the same piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Reapply ink two more times to the berry sprig stamp and stamp on the same piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the holly branch stamp and stamp onto the same piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Reapply ink to the holly branch stamp and stamp on the same piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the pine branch stamp and stamp onto the same piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Reapply ink two more times to the pine branch stamp and stamp on the same piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock.Colour the images in using a waterbrush and Tombow Markers 847, 249, 177, 026 and 969. Die cut the images out using the coordinating Poinsettia Dies. Ink the edges of the images using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Step Six. Adhere the emboss square to the black soft finish cardstock square. Foam square the black soft finish square to the patterned paper square.
Step Seven. Adhere the holly branches, pine branches and berry sprigs as desired in behind the poinsettia. Foam square the poinsettia to the middle of the embossed square.
Step Eight. Adhere the Seasons Greetings sentiment to the right side of the poinsettia. To finish the card, cut a cardbase out of White Soft Finish Cardstock that measures 4 3/4″ x 9 1/2″, score at 4 3/4″. Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.
