One of my first passions in Scrapbooking was paper layering! I love all the dimension and visual interest it adds.

To create this layout:
Step 1 – trim papers to these sizes and ink edges (I used a mixture of papers from the Reminiscence paper pack and the Rusty Weathered paper pack. )
12×12
10.5×11

Step 2 – die cut the following and ink the edges:
1 tab piece from 1603 planner essentials
1 tag top from 1744 Planner Essentials 26
2 of the largest stitched Indented Square
3 flowers with leaves from your favorite ECD floral dies (I used Florals 9 and Florals 7). ink edges and assemble

Step 3 – fussy cut the fish from the Reminiscence paper and ink the edges

Smile Flower Tag

September 8, 2020

Hi there,

it’s Tanja here and I created this watercolor flower tag using the whimsical Once upon a Time Accessories die set:

Step 1: Die Cutting

  • cut out a tag with the help of the smaller tag die from the Planner Essentials 26 set and the flower, the sun and some clouds from the Once upon a Time Accessories set

Step 2: Coloring

  • normally, I use Alcohol Markers to color my die cuts and add extra shading with Distress Ink but this time I tried something different
  • color all the elements with watercolors
  • I realized that I needed some grass too so I also cut two grass borders using the Adventure Edges die set

Step 3: Assembly

  • add some color to the background of the tag with Distress Oxide Ink Tumbled Glass and a Blending Brush
  • assemble the tag using liquid glue and double-sided foam adhesive

Step 4: Sentiment Stamping and Finishing Touches

  • stamp the sentiment from the Build your own Sentiments 1 set with Versafine Deep Lagoon into one of the clouds
  • thread a piece of natural and a piece of turquoise twine through the hole of the tag

I hope you got inspired.

Step 2: Sentiment and little Accent

  • stamp the palm trees from the Beach Sentiments Set wit Versafine Clair Morning Mist
  • stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versafine Clair Nocturne onto a piece of torn vellum and heat-emboss it with clear embossing powder
  • wrap the vellum around the tag and secure it with washi tape and the patterned paper packing you die cut earlier

Step 3: Finishing Touches
