It’s Tanja here and today I would like to show you how to create this Mixed Media Christmas Tag.
Step 1: Die Cutting
- die cut the smaller tag from the Planner Essentials 26 from kraft cardstock
Step 2: Adding Texture to the Background
- adhere tissue paper to the tag using matte medium
- apply crackle paste at random spots
- add some Distress Stain Tarnished Brass for extra shine
Step 3: Stamping
- stamp the branches from the Spring Fling set with Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves and heat-emboss them with WOW! Clear Matt Dull embossing powder
- ink up the edges of the tag with Distress Oxide Ink Ground Espresso
Step 4: Finishing Touches
- dye a piece of torn seam binding with Distress Oxide Ink Ground Espresso
- stamp the sentiment from the Classic Christmas Sentiments with that same brown ink onto a strip of kraft cardstock
- add some splatters with watered-down white acrylic paint
