Hello friends – it’s Sandy Diller here with a cute project that the kids are going to love going to school with. While shopping at the Dollar Tree a few days ago I came upon these cute pencil boxes so picked up two. I decorated them with some special students in mind.

These pencil boxes were so easy to decorate using the Joset Designs Once Upon A Time Collection and then simply adding the names with a label maker.

Any child would love to have this personalized pencil box to take to school or just keep at home in their room.

I began by cutting out the Castle Folding card and adding some stamping and coloring.

After cutting up the Castle into sections that would fit on the box, I added some colorful flags and roof pieces.

After adding the Castle to the box, the Prince and Princess were added.

I love making cards but really enjoy making items with my dies that are fun and useful – I hope you will give it a try.
Have a great and creative day,
Sandy

This is a really cute idea and I have ordered pencil boxes to create these for my grandchildren. Which type of adhesive did you use to attach the castle to the pencil holder? Did it hold securely? Thank you in advance for any additional hints you can give me.
