Just Chicken in

Hello all, Just chicken in again today with this fun farm yard card using Joset’s fabulous farm animal dies. This card is a ‘hello how are you doing’ kind of card, however you can easily switch the sentiment to suit any occasion.

Step One

Start by making the hen and rooster, here I have used coloured cardstock and gently inked around the edges before assembling all the pieces but you could easily make these using plain white cardstock and colour them with your preferred medium.

Step Two

Die cut a 2.25″ circle into a piece of scrap cardstock creating a circular template. Ink through the circle onto a 4×5.25″ a panel of white cardstock.

Step Three

Next place the inner circle piece over the sun and hold down firmly whilst inking the sky, ink approximately 3/4 of the panel saving enough room for the grass.

Step Four

Ink blend the grass into the sun and sky then use all three inks to blend the scene together swapping form one to the other until you have a nice blend. Use the yellow in a circular motion to create a hazy sun.

Step Five

Fix the panel the a top folding A2 card panel using 3d foam pads. Stamp the sentiment onto a banner shape then ink around the edges, attach all the pieces in place using more foam pads then finish off with a handful of eggs.
