Pumpkin Patch

September 20, 2022

Hello everyone, Jackie here again with today’s post. As Autumn is just around the corner I though I would make this cute pumpkin card using of course pumpkins and the gnome die sets. This would make a lovely piece of happy mail to let your friends know how just special they are.

Step One:

You will need an A2 card blank for this card, so start by trimming a white card panel down to 5.25×4″ to fit slightly smaller than the card blank. Ink the brown earth and blue sky using distress inks, I have chosen to use finger daubers but you could easily switch to normal daubers if you have those.

Step Two

Next create the green bush, Again I used a finger dauber but this time I just daubed in the one place and twisted slightly to make an inked circle, carry on making the circles until it looks bush like.

Step Three

Add the sentiment over the brown earth. Use a stamping platform to ink a few times for a nice solid impression.

Step Four

Die cut two large pumpkins and two smaller pumpkins then ink around the edges for added dimension. Cut storks and tendrils for three of them. Ensure one of the smaller pumpkins is made upside down for the hat – as shown in the photo below.

Step Five

Build the gnome parts shown in the photo below, cut the hair from the lady gnome pig tails. Add white stripes to the arms using a white gel pen.

Step Six

Add the pumpkin pieces to the gnome to finish the gnome off.

Step Seven

Add the pumpkins to the card blank with a dab of glue then use 3d foam pad to attach the pumpkin gnome. And now your card is ready.

Hope you enjoyed following along with this cute pumpkin patch gnome card. I had a lot of fun creating this card. See you next time!
