Nine-Patch Cards: Shimmer Sheetz Plus!
By Judi Kauffman
Just like nine-patch quilt blocks, nine-patch cards are a great way to use up scraps. In this case, it’s one-inch squares cut from alcohol ink-altered Shimmer Sheetz, embossed and embossed and sanded Shimmer Sheetz, and pieces of hand-painted and ink-altered paper and cardstock, set atop squares of solid color and patterned cardstock.
Hello Dear Friends,
Shalini Pahwa here. A rose is a symbol of love. There is no better way to express your love, gratitude or appreciation to someone than to give them a bouquet of roses.
Since my childhood I have been enamored of roses. Seeing the new Garden Notes Rose 3 die set by Susan Tierney-Cockburn from the Susan’s Garden collection gave me a new way to use my own creativity to express my love for these wonderful flowers.
This Thinking of You with Roses card is a way to celebrate both the amazing flower and the amazing die.
Hello there, Sanna here today to share a set of easy-to-make misted-background die cut cards. I really like to use color when crafting and spray inks are so much fun. Therefore I wanted to share this simple and easy card making idea with you!
Hello friends,
A warm welcome to the ECD blog. I am Anita here with my first post and before I begin, I would love to thank Elizabeth Craft Designs for including me in the team. It’s just been a few days and I am already loving it around here.
The new year has brought in many new and amazing dies and stamps and you will surely love them. I especially like the Valentine’s Day collection. It has all the beautiful designs to pep up your projects for the season of love.
Today, I am showing you my most favourite Lace Pocket die. I have used this to create a Notecard Box that will hold cards and I loved the idea of creating a lacy box to give it a very feminine look. I have made it in purse style.
Do have a look at my creation, followed by more pictures to show how I made it.
Hello Everyone, Christine here from Susan Tierney-Cockburn’s Design Team.
Christmas is fast approaching hope that you all have your holiday shopping well underway. I wish you the happiest of holidays! It does not look much like Christmas here yet, the little snow that we have had was quickly washed away with rain but there is still time for a white Christmas.
My post today is a simple little snowman card. This card could be used as a Christmas Card but also could be used for a winter occasion. Here is how the card was made.
Hello everyone, Sanna here again today. How many Christmas/Seasonal cards do you send every year? I need quite a big pile for friends and family each year and it has become a tradition to make sure they are all handmade and every single one is different. Quite a challenge, right? Here is a start – a set of four; now I only need 40-something more!
Hello!! It’s Wanda here today and I’m super excited to be sharing a project using the brand new Merry Christmas from the A Way With Words line by designer Suzanne Cannon. Christmas will be here in a flash and it’s not too soon to start those cards!!! I’m also using the new CountryScapes Fence and, of course, some old favorites. I love how the glittery swirls on this background make me think of a snowy day in winter.
