Step 1: Die-Cutting
die cut all the elements for the girl with a sunflower from white Soft Finish Cardstock using the Farmer, Holiday Elf His and Hers and the Farm Accessories sets
Step 2: Add Color
use Alcohol Markers to add color to the die cuts and add extra shading with Distress Ink (Scatterd Straw, Brushed Corduroy, Tattered Rose)
Step 3: Creating the Background
use patterned paper and the Adventure Edges 2 die set to create the background elements
stamp the sentiment from the Life is better on the Farm set with Versamark onto a strip of kraft cardstock and heat-emboss it with Wow! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
add some faux stitching around the sentiment strip with a white gel pen

Step 1: Die Cutting
die cut all the elements needed for the fairy, a butterfly and a cloud background from white Soft Finish Cardstock using dies from the Fairy 1 and Once upon a Time Accessories sets
Step 2: Adding Color and Assembly
color the elements with Alcohol Markers and add extra shading with Distress Inks and a Blending Brush
assemble the fairy and the butterfly
Step 3: Setting the Scene
cut out a stitched panel from smooth white cardstock using one of the Stitched Rectangles
create a cloud background with the help of a cloud stencil and Distress Ink
die cut some hills and a grass border using the Adventure Edges and Adventure Edges 2 sets
add extra shading with Distress Ink
Step 4: Finishing Touches
adhere the elements to the background
die cut the Smile sentiment and color it with Distress Ink
add a strip of patterned paper to left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
adhere a little gem stone on top of the “i”

Step 1: Creating the Door
cut out the door from the Christmas Door die set from kraft cardstock with and without a woodgrain texture
add shading and splatters with Distress Ink (Walnut Stain, Wild Honey)
Step 2: Cut and Color the Decorations
cut out the little tree, the pot and the snow from the Christmas Door die set and some parcels from the Santa’s Sleigh die set from patterned paper, green cardstock and from white cardstock
color the elements with Alcohol Markers and add shading with Distress Ink (Pine Needles, Hickory Smoke)
Step 3: Assembly of the Card
cover a cardbase with patterned paper
cut out the Merry Christmas Small from silver foiled cardstock and ink up the bottom with Distress Ink Black Soot

it’s Tanja here and today I would like to show you how to create this summer tag/bookmark with the small image stamps from several sentiment sets:
Step 1: Die Cutting and Background Stamping
die cut a tag from smooth white cardstock and if you like another tag from patterned paper that you can use in the back using the smaller tag die from the Planner Essentials 26 set
stamp the little heart from the Bear Hugs Sentiments, the shells and the starfish from the Splish Splash Sentiments and the sun and sunglasses from the Beach Sentiments set with Versafine Clair Morning Mist to create a background pattern on your tag
Step 2: Sentiment and little Accent
stamp the palm trees from the Beach Sentiments Set wit Versafine Clair Morning Mist
stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versafine Clair Nocturne onto a piece of torn vellum and heat-emboss it with clear embossing powder
wrap the vellum around the tag and secure it with washi tape and the patterned paper packing you die cut earlier
Step 3: Finishing Touches
color the image with Derwent Artists pencils and adhere it above the sentiment strip
thread three strands of twine through the hole of the tag

Step 1: Die Cutting
cut out three flowers and their add-ons – two from pink and yellow cardstock and one from a stitched panel cut from white cardstock – use the Stitched Rectangles and the Tropical Florals die sets
add some acetate behind the open flower window on the card panel with clear double-sided adhesive
Step 2: Adding Color
use Distress Ink (Fossilized Amber, Worn Lipstick) and a Blending Brush to add color to the die-cuts
add some splatters with watered-down Distress Ink too – Fossilized Amber to the flower stems and Peacock Feathers to the card panel
Step 3: Stamping the Sentiment and Assembly
stamp the sentiment from the Beach Sentiments set with Distress Oxide Ink (Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers) for an ombre look
create a shaker element behind the flower opening with double-sided foam adhesive and fill it with pink sequins
add a strip of pink cardstock and a strip of black and white patterned paper to the left side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Step 1: Die Cutting
cut out the elements for the little whale with its cute little hat from the Whale set from white Soft Finish Cardstock
Step 2: Coloring
color the elements with Alcohol Markers and add extra shading with Distress Oxide Ink (Black Soot, Hickory Smoke, Chipped Sapphire, Aged Mahogany)
Step 3: Assemble the Whale
assemble the whale using liquid glue
add highlights with a white gel pen
Step 4: Creating the Background
for the background cut out a stitched watercolor panel using one of the Stitched Rectangles
cut out a cloud border with the help of the Adventure Edges die set and three wave borders using the brand new Ocean Edges die set
add shading to the clouds and the waves with Distress Oxide Ink (Stormy Sky, Mermaid Lagoon)
stamp the sentiment from the coordinating Splish Splash Sentiments set with Versafine Clair Medieval Blue
Step 5: Finishing the Card
adhere the whale to the background using clear double-sided adhesive
add two strips of patterned paper to the left and right of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
While I was creating the whale card my daughter Emily (9) crafted alongside me and she chose the new Sea Turtle die set and some seaweed and stones from the Seaweed die set for her project. Here is what she came up with:
