A Way With Words Inspiration from the Design Team Planner Essentials

Live Love Laugh Valentine Tags

February 8, 2020

It’s Suzanne here with a sweet way to make a little tag book, filled with love for your Valentine – or make it as a gift for any time just because you love them!  Grab your dies and some of your favourite embellishments and let’s play!  Here is how you can make this with me.

Instructions:

Die cut 3 tags from Planner Essentials 2 from pale pink cardstock.

Die cut Live, Love and Laugh from dark pink cardstock.

Add a bit of interest by sponging stamp ink along the edges of the tags and the bottom edges of the words.

Layout the tags with the diecuts roughly laid out near the bottom of the tags.  (You can let the flourish hang off the bottom!)  This will help you position and stamp the sentiments.  Stamp the sentiments.

Attach the word diecuts.

Now you get to embellish! Add some paper flowers – pre-made or even better, make your own! How about some ribbon tucked in there, too?

Add some little hearts by diecutting the Heart Spray die and collecting the shower! Attach them to the tag. Maybe add a little thread bow under one of the hearts. I’ve kept the back 2 tags flat by not adding embellishments with a lot of dimension, but you can do whatever you wish!

Die cut the flourish from the Flourished Frame using the pale pink cardstock and attach it as a background element to the tag. Trim off excess parts.

Attach all the tags together with a ring or some ribbon. Embellish with even more ribbon! Give to someone special!

Happy Valentine’s Day!
Suzanne
